Clinique

The origins of Clinique, in the late 1960's, is an interesting tale. It's not clear whether Clinique came before Etherea or vice versa. It all started when Dr. Orentreich, a dermatologist from New York was hired by Estee Lauder to create a line of dermatologist developed skin care - Clinique. Right about the same time, Charles Revson - founder of Revlon - created Etherea, a skin care and cosmetic line with the same principle as Clinique. No one is sure of who pioneered the idea and who borrowed it, but both were launched at the same time.

Clinique revolutionized the skin care industry by creating products for specific skin types at very affordable prices. The good news is that Clinique is here to stay with their timeless reputation for quality fragrance and skin care products.
