Alfred Sung is a Canadian fashion designer, who was born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong, and studied haute couture in Paris. In 1983, the Canadian magazine, MacLean’s pronounced Sung Canada’s “King of Fashion” and he won high praise when his first fragrance was released in 1986. Sung by Alfred Sung Perfume was followed by Sung Homme Cologne in 1989, Encore in 1990, Forever Perfume 1994, Alfred Sung Pure Perfume in 1997. In 2001, Shi Alfred Sung Perfume debuted followed closely by Hei in 2002, Sha and Alfred Sung Paradise Perfume, Paradise Cologne for Men in 2003. In 2005, he launched the new fragrance, Jewel Alfred Sung Perfume, as well as the Alfred Sung Home collection. In 2006, the fragrance license was taken over by Elizabeth Arden and Bijou and Joya, were released, followed by Always Alfred Sung Perfume in 2009.
