Nothing at all like it's older brother, the original amber powerhouse, Obsession. This opens with a highly dry (suede?), dark, synthetic accord that to my nose comes across of all things as coconut liqueur mixed with cedar. It doesn't project far and lasts about 4hrs. The dry down is slight (a very light vanilla/fruit) and semi-aquatic. A unique cologne, not my speed, but nonetheless probably best for evening wear.

One of my personal favorites. I always keep a track of which colognes bought me the most favorable comments which are Issey miyake, Armani Attitude, Armani Code, Aqua di Gio, Lacoste essential,Obsession Night, Tom Ford, Polo Double Black and polo Blue. When I tried Obsession Night, one of my female friends got closer and mentioned this is seductive and sooo manly, difficult to resist!!!! This one is an aphrodisiac. I only wish there was some Musk involved too, but I can use some musk cologne in addition !!

I use Obsession every morning before I go to work and sometimes just for a quick add before a romantic evening, even though my wife tells me that I smell great.

I get comments from a few of my employees about how I smell, and we are not the kind of office where employees need to suck-up to the boss.

My wife really likes the strong smell and that it is not the sweet citrus-y smell that are prominent with most men's cologne and eau de toilette.

I purchased this for my son because of the Obsession Line which I have loved for a long time. I was surprised, this is another good one. I love the gift package, it was boxed and ready to give. The scent is not so overpowering and I love this one more than the original Obsession. You can't beat these prices on here. I have shopped for fragrences in the department stores and even with sales they cannot compete with this website! I bought this [...] and am very pleased.The scent is powerful, yet subtle. Very pleasant and comforting like some have said. You want to smell it over and over. I just bought it yesterday, and already have had favorable comments from women. It says luxury and power; you're not a regular run of the mill joe. And yet because it invokes familiarity, you are entirely approachable. To me I just think powerful: it is powerful stuff! Love it.
