This scent reminds me of a vacation we took in puerto rico...like a clean shower that never ends. lemony & dry, it's not fuity in anyway. very masculine, but not overpowering. my absolute fav mens cologne next to the discontinued Nino Cerutti original. i swoon everytime he wears it.....

I used this for years starting in the 70's and have come back to it because it is a classic fragrance that is well concocted. It is fresh and dry citrus smell that isn't cloying and yet presents as sophisticated. Think of it as the male version of Chanel #5. Classic but current.

First used in 1982, and off/on ever since. Great smell, draws compliments from wife, and others. Perfect for any occasion. I love the clean, fresh smell. Will continue to use, as it is an all-time favorite.

Marketed as for men, I loved it from the firrst as a woman and have recommended it to other women who love it. Fresh but subtle, a kind of heightening of natural scents--so I guess it is perfectly named. Probably my all time favorite. A winner and a classic.

I was first introduced to Eau Sauvage in the mid 60's. My parents gave me a sampler assortment of fragrances for Christmas and Christian Dior was one of them. Out of the 6 bottles in that assortment, Christian Dior was my absolute favorite. I have worn it ever since.
Fragrances are the most powerful memory stimulation that there are, and Eau Sauvage really brings back many memories for me. I wore it throughout my Navy service. I will never forget how fantastic it smelled, even to me, just walking down the street in a hot tropical environment. Whenever I wear it, I am transported back to the Philippines.
I love the subtle and light smell; it lasts a long time and you don't have to use much.
I have never received more compliments for any fragrance I have ever worn than Eau Sauvage.

Not everyone wears this product, which is nice. Seems like a lot of people are wearing the same things these days, and everyone smells the same. It's nice to be unique. This fragrance is very popular in France. A little hard to find here, until I found this great web site.

It's a men eau de toilette, but women who don't like strong, overpowering scents should try it. It can be sprayed daily and stays on all day. People around me always comment favorably about the "fresh scent".

I bought this for my husband because I am allergic to most fragrances, but not this one! It is light and fresh-smelling (lemon-y), & unexpected in today's world of heavy, overpowering men's colognes. That's probably why he gets compliments whenever he wears it. My only negative comment is that it doesn't last long enough, but I suspect it is because of its very nature - light and fresh. It's an upscale fragrance for the classic man.
