I can't badmouth this one. It has a nice powdery floral top note that dries down to a softened vetiver/leather finish. It's great for romantic evenings. My wife loves this on me.

Dior PH begins with a pleasant citrus. The lavender and sage in the top notes likely soften the sharpness of the bergamot. The midnotes are a spicy floral with a hint of cocoa. The chocolate is not, in my opinion, as potent as one will find in Rochas Man or Chopard's Casran. It is well done and very sensual. Again, Dior makes great use of florals in the midnotes to soften the effect of the chocolate and the spiciness of the cardamom. The drydown is simply outstanding with warm patchouli accented by leather and the earthiness of vetiver.Some have classified this as "feminine". I don't think so unless one subscribes to the notion that men cannot wear anything floral. Personally, I love florals and I'm a retired Army grunt. Dior PH is NOT an over the top floral. Believe me, women will love it on you. Dior Pour Homme along with Hanae Mori (it's somewhat close cousin) are definitely in my top 10.[...] I am very pleased.

My husband is a very fussy consumer. I notice since I got him the tester bottle of Dior Homme for Christmas he uses it almost every day, so that shows me how well he likes it!

And the testers are a real bargain. You're not paying for a fancy box, which gets trashed when one begins using the product anyway.

I got a sample sniffer of the product but couldn't find it anywhere in my local stores so I went online and found it at Scentiments. What a deal. I ordered it really close to Christmas but it arrived in plenty of time and in perfect condition.

This is an elegant, icy, rooty iris scent with just a hint of chocolate. In spite of the label, this is completely unisex--it would be perfect with a wool skirt suit and pearls.

This is an elegant, cold, rooty iris scent with just a hint of chocolate. Yes, a guy can wear it--but so can a woman! Would go great with a nice suit and pearls. My only complaint is the lasting power--the best part of it wears off within an hour. It's still quite pleasant after that, though.

One release from last year that continues to give me great pleasure is the hard-to-find Dior Homme Intense eau de parfum. I received a bottle the beginning of November and by Christmas I was trying figure out how to get more of this little treasure. By little I mean the size of the bottle. Though I would like to have seen a larger size of 75 ml instead of the 50ml, I now realize that for all practical purposes a size in this formulation is fine. I sometimes complain too much. [...]Back to the fragrance at hand. Today I went outside after having finished the daily ablutions and I was struck by what I have called the 'SWIRL FACTOR'. This happens when you head outside and the fragrance you are wearing envelopes, I love this word, yes, envelopes you. In the case of the Dior Homme Intense, the heavier iris, a slight trace of mint, and wood rise to my head and I am delirious. Delirious from the sight of all the snow yet to melt and from the this most handsome concoction, I like this word,too. Heavier on the iris, creamier than the edt,and most pleasantly long lasting, I have worn this for two weeks straight since replenishing my supply and I am a happy man.

Oriental scents seem to me the mark of refinement and sophistication. Dior Homme Intense is just that. After being an avid wearer of the original, I found it lacking at the base of the scent, vetiver being awfully prominent--not what I expect in an oriental, but nonetheless warm yet lighthearted.

Dior Homme Intense is an Eau de Parfum, smoky, warm, sensual. I don't consider it at all too different from the original in the beginning, but reveals its sweet ambery nature at the base, like the warm classic signature of a classic Guerlain scent.

It grabs a lot of attention, people have come up to me to complement on it. Because it has a more tenacious base it lasts well, 6-8 hours in average, and you don't have to use much, so it's quite a value especially purchasing it here on Scentiments.

The bottle is beautiful. Give this scent a try if you like a classic scent with modern lines and tired of smelling like another rendition of the smell of water.

I originally found this scent when I was in Paris. I fell in love with it immediately. This cologne can be used every day. I find that this is better on someone who has a higher ph balance, as the tobacco bottom notes can be too strong for someone who's skin tends to be less acidic. It is definitely a head-turner. Every time I wear it, people stop me and ask me what I'm wearing.

Definitely not a cologne for everyone, but beautiful if you can wear it.

I get tons of compliments when I where this fragrance. Very rich and masculine, not too sweet or flowery. If you want a cologne that is unique then this is your pick. Only one small complaint. I feel it doesn't wear as long as I would like. Ive ordered so many bottles they have raised the price. It is still a great value and one of my favorites.

I bought this for my father & he loves it. It has a nice woodsy, spicy warmth to it. He wears it daily for work but it's also appropriate for evening. Cool bottle as well. It's also not overpowering but it's definetly for someone who's more sophisticated & into the finer things.
