I was searching for a new signature fragrance (I use to wear the Escada parfum which is no longer manufactored) When I came across Creed. Because it is a parfume I expected the same results as the Escada, however on initial use I thought it didn't last as long. However over time I see that the cologne does last and I am absolutely crazy about the smell. It works well during daylight, work environment settings.

With a bottle at home, car & in the office, I stiil have to use more edconomical Guerlain-V. IT IS A GREAT PITY THAT LANCOME have withdrawn BALAFRE from the market some years ago. I buy it whenever I'm in Paris at Rue Fauburg St.Honore Lancome flagship store: horrendously expensive !

It's a wonderful scent that either men or woman can wear- this does not make it feminine at all, it's just a Great scent that smells differently on everyone.

The product works great if applied to both the skin or clothing. Generally, I like to wear the cologne during the day. According to my sources, Creed Vetiver was the cologne of choice for JFK, and knowing that you smell like the President can be an interesting topic of conversation.
Overall, aside from the high price, which qualifies this product as a veblen good and therefore increases its demand relative to price, there is nothing to complain about.

Purchased for a male friend who has a very classic style. This individual has a European background and really fits this scent. Go easy on it though - it's powerful stuff. Makes girls heads turn - has a sex appeal to the scent mixed with a classic, mature aura. Great stuff - highly recommend it!

I really like this scent but am surprised that since it's an Eau de Parfum that it doesn't last longer. This is definitely a classic scent and smells like nothing anyone else has. It definitely has the characteristics of the Creed fragrances, I just wish it was a little stronger and lasted longer. That is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Millesime Imperial is still my favorite!

This was a Christmas gift for my son-in-law who is very appreciative of anything I give him and I wanted this gift to be extra special.
I've not had a chance as to whether he really LOVES this fragrance yet although it seems to me it's a nice fresh men's cologne for everyday use.
Although it's rather pricey, your offer was greatly appreciated....

This fragrance is for dinner and dancing. I wouldn't wear anything else. It's as fantastic as Green Irish Tweed is for everyday wear.

A Creed classic, the vetiver is more prominent than in Original Vetiver, and is given a kick by great use of ginger. Cedar joins in to conjure a fine, perfectly balanced mineralic vetiver fragrance. The vetiver is not too heavy or too light. It sports great longevity for an EDT (7 hours on me). A suave, sophisticated vetiver scent.

I've been a lover of Vetiver for decades -- and I experiment creating variations on that scent. Creed Vetiver (and precisely that scent) has the character that is deep, wooded and rooty, grass like and dense in character that I really savor unadorned. Of Guerlain, Creed's other Vetiver Original, as well as raw Vetiver, this is probably the best -- elegant, yet sensually deep in its fragrance. There's a great layered density in the character of the mixture of notes -- and the melody that's expressed...

OV is very green smelling, like Irish Spring Soap. It starts with a strong lemony scent that smells clean and fresh. It developes into greener vetiver and grass but is sophisticated and controlled and not harsh. Some women find this clean theme very sexy. It lacks the musky, sweet, fruity vanilla elements that MOST women find sexy. It is a daytime scent to pick you up and make you feel good, clean and brisk. It is an addictive scent that you want to smell over and over. After awhile you can get bored with it because it is too straightforward and doesnt have the multidimensional drydown of Bois du Portugal or Green Irish Tweed. However, it is high quality fresh smelling scent for work and daytime and smells great in the morning. It is probably not complex enough for an evening out. I use Original Vetiver, Millisime Imperial, Green Irish Tweed, Bois du Portugal, new Tabarome and Acier Aluminium, all by Creed and Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle.

A wonderful fragrance... I could bathe myself in the stuff. And unfortunately, I have to in order for the fragrance to last - it's only available in EDT strength and it takes more than a few sprays for it to last a few hours. A good 6 sprays will last you between 2-6 hours, and it only gets nicer as it develops.

The fragrance itself cannot be beat - there simply isn't a nicer vetiver-inspired cologne made by anyone - Guerlain's doesn't even come close. But the longevity issue..

If it costed half as much, I'd buy 100 bottles. At the price? I try to save it for special occasions, and for just my own person enjoyment.

Similar to a deep, superior Green Irish Tweed. But much better and less cloying.

This fragrance also gets piles of compliments, which none of my other fragrances do.

Strength aside (and that is a BIG factor), this juice is wonderful.
