An amazing scent. It has a very nice citrus opening, a great balance of lemon and a cool refreshing mint. Then the sweet pea note establishes itself during the drydown. I use this for just about any occassion any time of the year, as it is pleasant, refreshing, and unique. It is a fragrance that you find yourself putting on just for you, as it is very uplifting to smell while it lasts. Which is the only problem, it just doesn't last extremely long (3 hours or so), even if you use a heavy hand. But while it does, it is exceptional. You will feel refined and well to do wearing this classic.

I understand this was Cary Grant's private collection cologne from Creed. Its scent makes you feel very clean in its lemony minty start. The mint is not too strong or medicinal. The lemony citrus scent is clean. Then the sweet pea kicks in after a half hour. It reminds me of scents from my Dad's village in Greece. It smells alot like fresh wild chamomile and wild flowers that grew wildly on the paths I walked there when I summered there as a kid. It is a pleasantly sweet smell. The only problem is by two or three hours the scent disappears. And i put alot of it on to see if it sticks. It doesn't. It is fleeting. It is elegant, like Cary Grant was, and pleasantly sweet and clean, unique, but more to feel good and clean for yourself and not to attract any attention. It is not multidimensional or mysterious. Just clean and sweet and pleasant. Not worth the money. [...].

I checked ALL the boxes. Not because I'm biased and think this one is so great, but because it really is the most versatile, wonderful fragrane I own...and I collect fragrances from all over the world. Take it from someone obsessed with fragrances...Selection Verte is absolutely amazing.
