When I returned home from Vietnam in 1966, I was given a bottle of Canoe as a gift...I've been using it ever since...I love the scent of Canoe Cologne...I have always gotten comments from my wife and other women that I work with...My Granddaughter loves it, too...I use it every morning as a body spash after a hot shower and in the evening as a refreshing scent...I use nothing else.

It's quite simple; I use it as a splash, all over, every day...It has become my scent for over 30 years now...Many years ago, I was standing in line in a store waiting to be serviced...I was next in line...A young clerk stopped what she was doing, looked up, and said, "What is that smell?"...She got up, came around the counter, stopped beside me, and said, "It's you"...She asked me what cologne I was wearing...I told her that it is Canoe...This is not unusual...I believe that women find the scent quite pleasant and that pleases me...Thank you, Canoe!

When I started using canoe in 1959, it was something that set you apart from everyone else. Everyone always said to me, "what are you wearing, it smells soo good" As I aged, and continued to use canoe, ( I am 65 ) the comments were the same until the end of the 90's when the quality went down. Sorry DANA, you blew it. You had a good product that you destroyed...

Canoe has been around just about forever and is classic and timeless. The men in our family have been wearing it for generations and still going strong. Some things just never go out of style, and Canoe is one of them. It's too bad more of the younger set aren't aware Canoe is out there, this scent could go on for another 80 years.

Canoe has been around a long time. You can't say that about many colognes. It just smells good. It's not sexy, it's not overpowering, it's not trendy, it doesn't have a designer label, it's not offensive, it just smells good. It's a daytime product. It's inexpensive and it will last, especially if you put it on your clothes. This is for us older guys.

I have used this since I was a teenager and I'm a baby boomer. A very classic scent for which I have not been able to find a substitute.
