Guys are commenting that this doesn't last. I hope they are not spraying more and more on to make up for it. This is a wonderful scent, and a man does not want to offend and compete with a woman's scent. Most men's colognes are totally obnoxious and men bath in it. This is a wonderful, refreshing change.

Overall, it's a great product for the amount you have to pay for it. It doesn't hold all that well, especially in the heat when you're sweating. On the other side, it isn't too strong, which means no one will ever say you wear too much cologne when you put The One on.

I used to not be able to use any cologne as they irritated my allergies or simply didn't mix well with my chemistry. THIS ONE IS THE EXCEPTION! I first thought a candle was burning and kept looking for where the scent was coming from only to determine that it was ME! I use it all the time now.

D&G's The One is a very distinctive scent that is not over powering and I get many compliments on it. I wear it every day for work at the office in a casual environment and also use it for special occasions in a more formal environment. Best part was how much money I saved buying from Scentiments.

I alternate using this fragrance with some other brands I own. 'The One' is my favorite fragrance. It smells great and brings me some attention from the ladies. It is elegant and masculine and at the same time---it is subtle. Its top notes won't overpower the entire effect. I am very particular about the fragrance I wear so 'The One' had to be different and special for me to purchase and use. My only suggestion is that one should test it before purchasing, just to make sure the scent "fits'.

Received an email showing this one and thought the price looked good, so I took a chance on it without smelling it. Boy, I'm glad I did. This is easily my new favorite. Can't say enough good. The spicy and warm scent is very masculine and not at all flowery.

I like to alternate my fragrances, usually, unless I find one that I enjoy wearing most of the time. This is one of them. This fragrance is not overpowering, in my opinion, and when sprayed on my clothes, last all day. I don't care much for compliments, so it doesn't bother me if people don't smell my cologne. I wear them for me, and me alone. If I receive a compliment, it's an added bonus. This one in particular, is warm, yet light enough that I won't get sick of it or sick of wearing it everyday if I so choose. It's also slightly woody with a hint of spice....but sweet enough to counter everything. Wonderful fragrance all around. It's in my top two.

If you like items like Aqua di Gio and YSL - L'Homme, as well as, Lacoste, you will LOVE this scent. When I give my Fiance a choice of which fragrance she would like for me to wear she chooses D&G The One - especially when we go out evenings ans she also wherre the woman's version of D&G's The One.
