It's hard for me to describe this other than to just say: "it's very sexy, and very good".
A friend of mine has said that to her it is "the best smell ever". When I asked her exactly what she meant by that, she said that it "smells like every man should smell".
It's not too strong, not too citrus-y -- really it's nothing overpowering in any category to my nose. But overall what it is, is very, very good.

It literally smells like fresh, citrus water with a disctinct holding male fragrance. Not at all feminine. This is my husbands go-to fragrance; not at all overpowering or offensive in the office, but people will stop what their doing and break their necks to get a whiff of him passing by (so he says) :)

I did a lot of research on this product before ordering and found there were a significant number of accusations of counterfeit products from consumers purchasing the cologne through other Sellers (I can't reference the retailer, probably for legal reasons, but it starts with "A" and ends with "azon"!). Most consumers complained about poor packaging (or no packaging) and decreased scent over time. Thus, I was relieved when I found much better reviews on Scentiments. I purchased the cologne for my husband in mid-Oct [...] I can't report on the lasting quality of the scent yet, but we are happy with our purchase and are comfortable that we have purchased a genuine product.

My son is the one that uses it. He uses it daily and again if going out later. He gets lots of compliments and this fragrance is his favorite! I find it expensive for a 13 year old boy to use, so I wish it was cheaper. Over the last 35 years or so I have tried allot of different fragrances, including some very expensive ones. I keep coming back to this one. This is such a classic that I think I will finally stop looking for something else. This is also the only one that I can recall that my both my wife and I really like, and that was hard to find.
The refill is by far the best deal out there and it comes in an attractive sray bottle so you can use it as is and keep it out on the counter.

One of the best selling mens cologne. Its a very good beginner cologne, not too offensive. The rock rose, marine, and hespiraidic notes really set this cologne off. Reminds me of the open sea, on a beach. I do not like this scent because its all too common nowadays. But was probably a trend setter back in 1996. Since my son let me use his , I was hooked. Won't buy another cologne again. Just wish it was less expensive .

This is a great scent for daily use. It's subtle, not overpowering, easy on the nose. Nice clean, fresh scent. I wear Acqua di Selva for evening, this for day, in general. For those who have allergies to some scents, this one seems not to cause a problem.
