Gucci pour Homme is such an incredible scent, I can't believe they discontinued it. Its everything that reminds me about men - earthy, musky but not too much, very sexy and just very masculine. The bottle is beautiful and the amber color really relates to the scent itself. I hope that I'm always able to find Gucci pour Homme. My boyfriend of 4 years wears it and when I think of him, I think of this smell! A great, masculine scent.

Opens with a very strong mix of incense and warm cedar. About an hour in it mellows into the scent of a earthen fireplace on a damp day, as though you've glided through light smoke from a wood fire. Unique and original. Gets a lot of compliments. Probably best for casual evening wear. Could last longer but still a highly recommended buy!

I'll bet even the experts would have a hard time distinguishing this from Dirty English.
You can get DE at about 1/3 the price, but, maybe being able to say I'm wearing Gucci (who ever thought a name like "Dirty English" was going to make men brag about what they were wearing) is worth the extra money, for some....

Gucci pour Homme is now my alternate fragrance with Davidoff Cool Water. The is more spicy than DCW, but I find it works whether I'm casual or elegant. It does tend to last longer on fabric than onn skin, but that's not a major flaw. If it fits your style, go for it.

Gucci pour Homme was a gift for my husband. He uses it everyday - it has become his signature scent. It's not overpowering, it has just the right amount of muskiness, has a very attractive aroma, and adds just the right touch of sexiness :) He is prone to migraines, so he has to be careful what type of cologne he wears. He's tried many fragrances but this is the perfect one :)

Like a good Islay Malt Whisky, this stuff sticks to you and envelopes. I often wear it in the morning to calm me down on stressful days. Smells like a prayer whispered at midnight, while laying down beside a new pair of leather shoes that have pine sap in their treds, but with extra cloves in their heal for good luck.
