I remember when Guerlain introduced this fragrance in 1965. I can still see the ads in The New Yorker. Habit Rouge means "hunting coat." Think about that! Guerlain fragrances are made with natural botanicals, not cheap imitation chemicals. They are a bargain at any price.

This is a must have! [...] I'm not sure this distinctive scent will ever go out-of-style? Mix this with Guerlain L'Instant and the women in your life will be in heaven. This lasts about four to six hours at the most. The top note is fantastic and the dry-down is even better. You can also mix this with Angel For Men if you really want to be creative.

I bought this having never smelled it prior. Based on the ingredients and reviews thought it would work for me. (Though I must have missed the musk part - which on me tends to amplify exponentially.)

Its not repulsive, it just doesn't seem to work with my chemistry. On me, its smell reminds me of a elderly woman. A coworker said that it reminded her of Estee Lauder "Youth Dew".

I bought it because someone said "mens shalimar". NOT. My wife loves it but says I should give it to her, because "it's a perfume".
I keep putting it on and like getting "whisps" of it during the day. It lasts and the "whisps" are different at different times.
Different from any I have used before. My favorites are Gerndarm, Vetiver, Perry Ellis.

I have worn this scent since 1968. I search it out and always have it available. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find in the US, but it is worth the search. Habit Rouge is not for the faint of heart. It is a complex, sophisticated scent.

This is my all time favorite Guerlain fragrance. Guerlain is one of the few houses that still uses natural botanical so that you don't get that artifical chemical smells of so called "designer fragrances." The ladies swoon over this stuff!! Really, you must try it. It is perfect for wearing in the office or whenever you wanna smell fantastic. It has a spicey, woodsy, yet masquline, aroma that is mellowed out by vanilla and citrus. It smells "spicey-creamy," with a woodsy-masquline edge. I'm tryin' to learn you something boy! Try it!
