I wish Terre d'Hermes came in a gallon jug! When this fragrance was introduced, there was nothing else like it. It challenged all the other scents on the market, but in a completely pleasant way. I do not have to work to enjoy this scent. I love the peppery notes. I love the citrus notes. This was a scent that I was waiting for my whole life--and now that I have found it, I never want to let it go. It has great sillage and powerul longevity.

This is actually my second bottle. my first was 200ml. I have used a lot of perfumes. I'm a perfume Frick. But since i fell in love with this wonderful perfume, thats the only thing i buy. Its stays on u or your cloth till u throw it into the washing machine. After some months of usage u wont smell it again, but trust me, people will always do. You will never regret buying this perfume. Its a classic. The price is right. Although i bought the tester this time around because it comes with a cover. the cover is made with the bottle. the only difference is d packet and thats very insignificant. The main thing is the content.
Caution! Don't use too much, people could choke (lol)

My husband smelled this on one of those papers you get in magazines..he wiped it on his wrist and I was like "OMG". I decided to surprise him with a bottle and he just loves it. It's not overpowering; it's very sexy so I prefer he doesn't wear it to work. lol Then again, he's in sales so maybe it would help ;o) The scent is warm and unique and mellows to a wonderful scent as the say progresses. It's amazing. Any man would love this!!!

My boyfriend hates wearing cologne but he will wear this one...he doesn't smell it after a while, but I do. This is definitely more of a 'manly' smell cologne and I love Hermes products.

This is a great brand and I have had Hermes fragrances before with much greater success. This has a great unique, bottle. The closer for it is a simple twist of the knob and your done. Another twist to open and you good to spray.
Frangrance.. contrary to reviews I have seen, this is NOT a strong smell and it sure does not last very long at all. Perhaps ones body chemistry is the issue. In any case I found it very pricey since it will not attract anyones interest and cant last very long. Disappointed.

Bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law (at his wife's suggestion), when he got it he let me smell it and it smells amazing! I will be buying it for my husband as well. Too bad it is expensive but Scentiments price is way cheaper than the mall.

My husband does not like a 'perfumey' scent for work every day. Terre d Hermes is the perfect scent for him. He uses it daily and loves it for evenings out as well. I also like its subtleness. It is definitely manly without that wood/pine smell.

I am speaking for my husband because I bought this for him because I love it so much on him. The stores in Wyoming Michigan don't seem to carry it so I have to order it on line. Everyone must love it too because I can't always find it on line. So my new idea is to buy 2-3 bottles so he never runs out. I love this fragrance its his signature fragrance even the name is sexy.

Not for individuals with olfactory deficits! Truly wonderful scent that curiously is long-lasting (strong/complex Bass Notes?), but at least on my skin, has conspicuously minimal/weak sillage. The irony remains how can a fragrance that smells so good be so hard to smell?

Very Unique scent. Unless it becomes overwhelmingly popular this make a very nice signature scent. The sillage is one of the best out there. It is a very alluring aroma and woman find themselves wanting more. Wear ir sparingly so it doesnt become cloying, because it can be if put on to heavily. One of my top 3 along with Creed bdp and Muglers Bmen.

I love this stuff! A friend introduced me to it about a year ago and I paid full price for it in a department store. I can't believe it's available on this site for less! It smells fresh and clean and I constantly get compliments on it from both men and women. I highly recommend it!

Very nice (but quiet) grapefruit/bergamot/orange with surprising lasting power. High quality and inexpensive. My only criticism is that (as with many of Jean Claude Ellena creations) it's not very complex. That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your perspective, but this scent seems really simplistic and not very deep. Still, smells nice and worth the price.

I randomly bought this cologne and was completely surprised when I got my first wiff of it! It has a very deep woody, herbal, tobacco, sandle wood scent. Like nothing I have ever smelled before. Great for the night time and since its not heavily promoted, its kind of your own little secret...

I'm clueless about perfumes but struck gold with this after reading the nowsmellthis blog. Layering the after-shave and cologne works great and is not overpowering even at work.
Probably a better sophisticated evening scent but since it doesn't smell like the latest trendy scents, it draws compliments anytime.

I bought this for myself (I'm a woman) and I LOVE it! I'm not a big fan of sweet, fruity, flowery, girly smells and this is just perfect. It's fresh, clean, warm and a little bit spicy. Also, the price on Scentiments website was so good I couldn't afford NOT to get it. This and my Tom Ford Black Orchid are my absolute favorites. This scent is great if you don't like smelling like a fruit or a flower...also great if you like to share your perfume with your mate.

Terre is earthy without being dull, has a natural spirit without being muddy. I am amazed that it is so long-lasting and yet not overpowering when first applied. I use it several times a week, most evenings out and as a "pick me up" to lift my spirits. Yes, smelling great makes me feel better. If you like this, try "Trafalgar" by Truefitt & Hill as an alternate. Earthy too, with a bit more cedar and spice.

I didn't check the "Doesn't Hold" con because it doesn't dissipate right away, but it doesn't last as long as other Hermes fragrances I have like Rocabar. Still the smell makes it worth it. If you like a strong, maculine smell, Terre d'Hermes is for you. It may be strong but it is warm enough to be used from morning through evening. It is also a great value here. While in Italy, the cheapest I saw it was for $66 euro ($90.00 USD). So the complete kit at [$] USD was a bargin!
