I ordered this for my husband for Valentine's Day without any idea of what it would smell like. I bought solely on the name and other reviews. It had a nice smell, but there are others my husband wears that I like better. He is a GREEN finatic, and I don't mean environmental, he just likes the color so the name caught my eye right away, otherwise I probably would not have purchased it. I buy his fragrances for me and I buy mine for him, so it was pleasant. I would recommend it to anyone.

a great outdoor manly smell.Imagine a freshly mowed lawn, with a bit of citris and mint.Great for the office and and even the gym, not overpowering.I t is lasting, in a subtle way.

I can't say enough about Green Water...but hopefully what I'm about to say will make people who don't it eventually try it for themselves. Green Water was introduced to me by a friend about 12 years ago and has remained my favorite fragrance ever since. I've been buying and wearing cologne for over 40 years and believe me I've tried them all!
There are a couple other fresh and citrusy scents that I love (Eau d'Orange Vert by Hermes and Fresco by Victor) but Green Water is definitely #1 for me. A couple of years ago someone told me they were going to stop making it and I was very upset. I went downtown to the only wholesale dealer in my city that carried it and bought their last 10 bottles. Then Last year I found out they started making and distributing it again with a newly designed bottle and packaging...I was thrilled! Over the years, as either a xmas or birthday gift, I've introduced it to all my friends and colleagues who are cologne "afficionados" and it has become their favorite as well. That clean and unforgettably perfect combination of citrus and mint is so fresh and sexy it draws attention everytime I wear it. I can't remember how many times people that don't know the scent have asked me and my friends "what is that incredible cologne you're wearing"?

I like discovering new fragrances, and this was the case. I'm not disappointed. Good cologne for a moderate price.
