Got it for my husband because it's just a simply wonderful refreshing scent. I'm afraid I can't think of another fragrance I can say is similar (I wish more reviewers would do that so I can have an idea of a scent) but it smells a little like a Molton Brown hand wash that the Paparazzi restaurants here in Boston used to use.

Amber has, to my nose, a clean, soft, soapy smell that IMO, could not offend anyone. My wife likes it on me and she's the best indcator I have. She also likes to wear it from time to time making this pretty much a unisex fragrance as far as this family's concerned.

After smelling a sample in a GQ magazine, it instantaneously hit me that this was the unique great scent that I had been looking for. So many colognes seem to copy one another...this one stand alone. Only drawback, it is not as long lasting as I would like. 5 stars for sure!

I bought Prada Amber as a birthday gift for my son. It doesn't smell like all the other mens fragrances and I think he will like it. It has a warm, musk scent without being too heavy.

Having an individual spirit, I tend toward unique fragrances that are not the "latest and greatest" fad scents. Although Prada is fairly strong upon application, the lasting undertones are fresh, clean, and masculine. I suggest more formal and evening use, for it may be too potent for business use.

Fantastic clean musky and vanilla scent. Lasts all day. Have had almost as many compliments from women on this scent then Creed Green Irish Tweed, only it is a lot easier on the wallet.

I actually smelled a sample in a magazine(which I don't normally gauge colognes or perfumes by)and loved it instantly. I went to Sephora at the local mall and sampled it in person. I HAD to have it! I know it is a mens' cologne but this scent does justice to both sexes! I would definitely recommend this scent to all.
