I love this cologne. I wish it lasted a little longer. It might smell different on different people. I bought the tester bottle, so that might be the difference in it lasting longer. Also, I think the wearer of the cologne gets used to wearing it, they may not realize the strength.

This was a blind purchase, meaning that I had no Idea what this stuff smelled like. Personally it seemed an awkward overpowering scent when I self tested. But since I've drawn a few comments from the ladies saying that I smell good. I would have to say that I happy with my purchase. With fragrances I guess the rule of thumb is it doesn't matter how it smells to the wearer, but how it smells to the smeller...

I bought Polo Black, because I thought it smelled good on the card. When I actually used it, it smelled like plastic. Not the best smell. Good thing I only bought the 1.3 oz. bottle. I use it when I work the graveyard shift, when I'm not around anyone. It's the only way I'm going to finish the bottle.
I would recommend it to a friend, so I could wear something else and smell a lot better.

It never fails that I get compliments when I wear Polo Black. I can wear anything else and not have anyone ask, but whenever I wear this, even strangers have stopped me to ask what I am wearing that smells so good. I am not exaggerating when I say that numerous times this has happened. I will now only wear Polo Black. A bit higher in price than others, but well worth the cost. Lasts long and works well in numerous settings.

Next to Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani, I've never received more spontaneous compliments, even from perfect strangers, as I do with Polo Black for Men. Both of the aformentioned colognes are bold enough to last the duration of a day but just mellow enough to make everyone happy! Unless you have an unusual body chemistry that simply doesn't jive with fragrances,...then you can't go wrong with this one. PROMISE!!

Fragrance choice can be very personal and varied, so it was with caution that I bought this for my husband, a very "picky" person when it comes to his individual style of clothing and fragrance use. However, it was literally love at first smell for him and he has not worn anything else since. When he ran out of his first bottle and had to use his "back-up" fragrance (his previous favorite), he was like a boy who had lost his favorite toy. I could not get him another Polo Black fast enough. I also personally love the smell. I get migraine headaches really easily after being around some fragrances, but Polo Black does not have that negative effect on me. Its a nice, easy-to-smell fragrance that isnt offensive. When I am out in public and smell it on a stranger, I can immediately recognize that it is Polo Black and I am reminded of my husband. When our 4 year old son sees the big Polo Black bottle in the bathroom, he asks for us to spray some "smell-good" on him! Then he says proudly, "I smell good like daddy". So now we have two users of it in our house! I will always remember one day after taking a nap, he awoke and said, "You smell that mommy"? (and sniffed his shirt)then said, "Daddys been here" and smiled.
