I bought Polo Modern Reserve as a gift for my husband. It starts out herbal, then develops earthy notes and mellows out with a dry, woody finish. It's complex but not overpowering; much better than the original Polo. It is a great masculine fragrance for a confident man.

I've always liked the original Polo but this is far better. It lasts a long time and a two sprays does the trick for me. It's a very masculine smell, probably more suitable for the mature crowd (I'm 48).
