I began using Royall Lyme in 1963, and it's quality has never waned. I think the most I ever paid for a bottle was when I lived in Anchorage, Alaska - and it was worth every penny. Excellent product!

I have used BVLGARI BLU, CK ONE, ESCADA SENTIMENT, NAUTICA, OCEAN PACIFIC, POLO, CLINIQUE HAPPY, KENZO, ETC... to find that unique cologne for me. Most of the colognes pretty much smell the same after body chemistry takes over so I kept on searching. After smelling this Royall Lyme at Brooks Brothers, I knew I found that ONE cologne I was looking for. It basically smells like you took a shower with a clean smelling soap after you have been peeling lime for couple of hours. Scent is very subtle with that eye opening lime aroma. Thank goodness that I no longer smell like those teenagers bathing themselves with Axe or Tag. It's now a signature cologne for me and I am not going back. Please don't buy this product because I don't want you guys to smell like me. Thanks

The product is good overall aftershave and cologne. The lyme scent is pleasant but not overpowering like so many other fragrances. The scent also reminds me of my trips to Bermuda, Jamaica etc which of course makes me feel good too. The scent just doesn't seem to last thru the day, but I definately like it enough to use it again.

My grandfather has been using this product back when the Caribbean were mostly British Colonies. As he still does I also use it every moring after I wash my face or shave. The memories I have of this product and my granddad's crisp seersucker suit as he took me to school are still very clear. The ultimate appreciation for Royall Lyme can only be experienced in a warm climate with the ocean very near. Its akin to Reggae music-until you've heard it pulsing on a Caribbean beach at two in the morning, you have'nt really heard it.

I discovered Royall Lyme in 1963 when I started college. A friend of mine introduced me. I was amazed at the mild yet pervasive aroma of the small bottle. I knew only the popular after shaves and colognes of the day but Royall Lyme was an awakening from the pedestrian smells. It was sophisticated, adult and completely different from the rest. I have used it since.

I use Royall Lyme as an after shave and also for a body lotion. It has a nice subtle fragrance that is not detectable by anyone at any distance from me, and is thus not offensive or overpowering. It is soothing and refreshing in all weather and climates, but its scent reminds me of trips to Bermuda.

My husband has used Royall Lyme for years, but we have trouble finding it in stores. It has a naturally refreshing scent . . . clean & citrusy w/a nice woodsy undertone. I love the smell and have even used it myself. It doesn't seem to have the staying-power of some after-shave lotions, but maybe that's why we like it . . . it doesn't wear out its welcome!
