I buy this for my husband every year. He used to wear Acqua Di Selva made by Victor years ago. The only place we could purchase it after a while was in Chicago. Then we went for a number of years and could not find it at all.....until Sentiments. No, this isn't the same company, but the smell is great. He gets compliments all the time and it's not something that everybody and their brother wears also....unique and good! It's my favorite and his too.

I use this product for work and on weekends for any "dress up" occasion. I find that it is immediately recognized by any woman who frequented nightclubs in the 70's or early 80's. It is a highly complimented scent that I actually love the smell of myself. The only down side is that it is occasionally unavailable which is an inconvenience when it is your signature scent. Also this is not a scent I would use daily if I did not work in a suit with the public (that would be a waste of money).

I have always purchased Visconti Di Modrone
Acqua di Selva Eaude Cologne. I have seen it in
stores in Little Italy in San Francisco, Toronto,
and New York. It has been around since 1947 and
it has that smell that can't be beat in my opinion. I am 55 years old but it works for the
younger guys because they have asked what I wear,
and I told them and they have had good results.
