I have been using this since 1984, tried others but always come back. A bit pricey but a little goes a long way. Always a positive response to it. The compliments keep coming and the stories I can tell of what's happened to me because of this scent are too numerous. Won't try anything else anymore.

As for other's complaining about the scent, it's dependent on body chemistry. It may not react well with theirs but it's worth trying if you haven't used it before. You can find it in the better department stores and get a small sample bottle to try. It lasts a few uses. Use only a little. It's an awesome scent but it can be overpowering if you put too much on. If you decide to buy, get the spray so that you use only a little at a time. Two sprays on my hand and I rub it where I want.

Ok, one story. Old girlfriend who stole one of my shirts wouldn't give it back because she loved my scent and it stayed on the shirt. She said because it smelled like me. Wanted to buy it for her boyfriend but I wouldn't tell her what it was. Colognes are great but being a tease helps too :oP

I first started using Kouros in 1986 and it is all I have used since. I like the smell, but what continually amazes me are all the women that ask what cologne I am wearing, that they love it. Over the years I have had over 100 people ask about my cologne (favorably). I have also had several men ask because they want to get it. I have never encountered anyone who doesn't like it. It is very strong though, so a small spray is all you need. That makes it go a long way which is good because it is expensive. However, on a day-to-day basis, it isn't too expensive because you use so very little of it. Fantastic product. Very difficult to find in stores though. Thank God you can find it here, online at good prices.

BTW, the reviews that said it is an old man scent are way off - my 17 year old son takes mine to use because his girlfriend and her friends all like it so much.

I read two comments are saying that KOUROS smell like "old uncle and urinal cake" and other "old people and urinal cake". Every person has is own scent with out any thing. some people smile bad other good. Therefore, you need to find the cologne goes with it. If it does not then, you will smell
like old people and urinal cake". That smells are the combination of your smell and the cologne, and has nothing to do with the cologne.
I am wearing "kouros" for more than 25 years and people compliments are overwhelming.

Great scent for evening. Very unusual cologne; there are no other scents even similar but it is a hard scent to find. Scent has overtones of patchouli and woods which make me think of something I'd smell in a Moroccan bazaar. Not for everyone but definitely for individualists!

Very unique smell, smells like urinal cakes and public restroom at first. People have described it on me as old person smell. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 40, this perfume speaks experience. Don't like enough to keep it.

This is a love or hate kind of cologne. It has an old uncle type of smell to it, so it is not recommended for anyone under 40. It is very long lasting cologne, I smelled it on me for over 24 hrs, even after a shower. It does have a urinal cake/restroom smell to it. Its a very unique scent, not sure how to describe it. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but doesn't like it to keep it.
