I can't imagine anyone not liking this fragrance. It is definitely a "going out" perfume--a little fancy for everyday wear. But it is sexy, rich, and wild. You will get many, many compliments. Comparable to Vera Wang's signature fragrance. I now alternate the two for special occasions.

This fragrance is very deep/heavy. Since my prefrence in fragrances is light fresh and clean, Maitresse was a dissapointment. I will not suggest this to people in the age group 20-35. Hence when I recieved my order and smelled it, I quickly wrapped and mad a gift to my grandmother, who is inlove with the fragrance.

This is truly a unique fragrance. It starts out soft and stays soft and powdery.you could wear this for any occasion. After years of enjoying different fragrances,this has become my favorite! Agent Provocateur starts out a little harsh, kind of strong but softens to a nice, clean almost soap-like scent. It really lasts all day which is a nice change because so many scents smell good when you put them on but fade too quickly.

I was so excited when I ordered this and am sooo disappointed in it. To me, it smells like something an old lady might wear. It has a heavy, cloying odor. It is very reminiscent of perfumes my Grandmother used to wear. Truly awful and not at all worth the money.

When I found that this website had this perfume, I was so happy! I first received this perfume as a gift, and stores do not really carry it anymore, so to find it again was amazing! I was very wary of buying this because of some negative reviews I've read. I thought the notes might not work well together. But I took the plunge, and boy I'm glad I did. This is pure sexy in a bottle. So unique, so seductive...it's really hard for me to describe in words. I would use this as a signature fragrance, or special occasions and evening. Marilyn Monroe once said she wears "a few drops of Chanel No. 5" to bed. Had it been out back then, I think she would have said, "A few drops of Agent Provacateur." Ladies, put on your black lacy garters and spritz away!

I bought this after a guy told me how crazy he was over it. Well I wasn't disappointed, I always get compliments whenever I wear it. It has such an interesting scent...not too floral. I have lots of different perfumes, but I always seem to gravitate to Agent Provocateur.

It suits my personality. Not too heavy for everyday use. Subtle but bold enough to be detected and complimented upon. My only complaint is there is no cover for the spray head. I would prefer a cap to the stopper they use. It is a pain to remove and replace.

OK girls. This isn't a fun flirty perfume. And I have read several reviews on other sites where women said they didn't like Maitresse.
Well, yes, it is spicy, dark, and just a little musky, and the floral scent can be a little on the dark side or evening side. But the fragrance changes with the hours of wearing it and you will smell different notes. There are some perfumes that could be described as "Sexy,Flirty,Girlie". Agent Provocateur is "Sensual, Passionate, and Womanly". Also, it helps if you use an uncented body wash when you want to wear this perfume.
Wear Maitresse in the evenings and in cooler weather. If you don't like it, give it a second chance. I had to, now I am addicted.

First time I sprayed Agent Provocateur perfume in the store I didn’t like the smell at all and couldn’t understand what all the fuss is about it. After couple of hours I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist, I got addicted. Even it’s an evening perfume and great for cooler weather I wear it every day. It lasts all day long and you need just a little. It’s very rich and unusual. And it changes through the day. Wonderful!!!!
