I used Ma Griffe as a teenager in the late 60's, but lost track of it since then and just renewed my love for this fragrance. Like a walk in the forest on a summer day, this smell starts as deep green, mossy woods in fresh flowery air. (I do not smell citrus top notes at all--if they are there, very subtle.) It quickly develops into a rich, warm floral--although never too sweet--and never loses that warm mossy quality. EDP spray lasts all day into the evening. A unique scent, it is definitely a chameleon. I am a night club musician with a day job at the office, and this fragrance is beautiful in either situation--works equally as well as an everyday fragrance or for a special night out. Casual or adventurous. Any style, any age.

I use this every day after my shower. It was given to me as a Christmas gift from my aunt 30 years ago and I've used it ever since. It's one of the few fragrances that I can tolerate. Most perfumes give me a terrific headache. This doesn't!

I first met "Ma Griffe" in the bedroom of a friend's mother, in 1949. The parents had been in Europe and the mother had purchased it for herself. I fell in love with it, got it on my fingers and ran home, immediately, before I could be discovered. We obviously didn't belong in there!! When I got old enough and had enough money...I started wearing it and have never stopped. I do adore the stuff!!

Have been wearing Ma Griff since my 16th birthday. I turn 60 this year. It has not always been easy to obtain - but I've never been without. Finding it on your web site has been a tremendous bonus. I was told many years ago that it was developed for Grace Kelly. Prior to her death in 1982 it seemed to have disappeared - but soon after I found it in Jamaica, London and Sydney Australia. Of course I always buy at least two (usually parfum) and wear it only on special occasions to ensure I always have some safely vacuum packed in my refrigerator.

The fragrance is wonderful..have used for years, but the picture online shows the container with a cap, and it comes without a cap..the spray mechanism is exposed, so it is hard to pack to travel.

You certainly won't smell yourself coming and going. I know Ma Griffe has been reformulated and I can't recall the original, but this is nice and very different! It's almost bracing at first -- astringent and clean, sharp even -- and it stays quiet and polite the entire day. This would be great as a work fragrance, when you want to make a professional impression and want your scent to be unique.

When I received this product it was VERY cold, I didnot think to much about it. When it reached room temperature I used it and found out the cold must have changed the chemical composition sooo it does not smell any thing like its suppose to.I want to tell you the price was great but it's not very good that the perfume must have sat in the truck or someplace in the cold to get this cold. Oh well I will live and learn. I am so disappointed!
