This is my first purchase of this perfume. I love the smell but I prefer Bob Mackie over this perfume. Bob Mackie is my signature perfume and I think it smells way better then this perfume. It isn't as long lasting as Mackie either and I get more compliments with Mackie. I only bought this b/c Bob Mackie was out of stock. But I did purchase Mackie on [...] b/c I can't go without it. Otherwise, this perfume is pretty good especially for the price.

This has been my signature fragrance for more than 20 years. Everywhere I go people comment that they know I'm there when they smell my "casmir". I get so many compliments, and I adore this product more than I can say. I have to say that I met my husband 18 years ago and he would tell me that my fragrance would be on his clothing when he went home, and he would smell his shirts and think of me. How is that for romantic. Over my lifetime I have tried all the newest fragrances. I would like one for a short period of time and then stop liking it. Never the case for Casmir. This has been the one that is still the same yesterday and today. [...] I could never understand how it was discontinued. They always discontinue the "best" and keep the worst. Casmir is an evening, special occasion and an occasional daytime winter scent for me. Oriental /gourmand, spicy but somewhat sophisticated. As you'd expect the fruit upfront fades pretty quickly but the warm base notes are quite long lasting. Not a knock your socks off sex bomb but the glowing embers of a come hither look.

This is an incredible value for this fragrance. This retails for over $100 in department stores and is also hard to find. Sorry. Ladies, this one was not good for me. Just a generic Vanilla scent. All I could smell was Vanilla! Almost identical to Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar. So if vanilla is your thing, go for this!

The only thing wrong with Casmir is that it is hard to find in the U.S. Being able to buy it at Scentiments is a true blessing for me.
