My first bottle was a throw-away of my sister's! Can you believe that?!? It was love at first spray! None of my friends wear this fragrance, so it's become my signature fragrance and I love, love, love it! Hope it never goes out of production. Drives my boyfriend crazy!!

I have used this fragrance since it's launch and it never gets boring. You have to determine how much of it you want to spray on as too much will get overpowering. The name captures its essence - it is intoxicating in a quiet way. There is nothing harsh about it rather it is powdery smooth with vanilla and woodsy notes. I wear it when going out (also perfect in cold weather) but never to the office as it can be very distracting... And for what you get, I cannot complain about the price. There are fragrances out there that cost double the price and are very forgetable!

I especially like the body lotion. Tried so many different fragrences through the years and always go back to Poison. If it is not broken, why fix it. Yes, it would be nice to change, but when I do, I always go back to Poison.

I absolutely love this perfume, but it's NOT for everyone! It is very strong, spicy, and heavy, with a touch of sweetness. It's my favorite winter perfume. I would NOT recommend buying it until you've tried it with your own body chemistry, however. It works with some people, but my best friend tried and it she said it smelled like an old lady on her.

I use this everyday. Not only do men keep asking me what I am wearing, so do the women. It attracts everyone. This is the first perfume I've had that everyone likes on me.

My 7 year old neice hugged me the other day and said "I like it when you hug me Aunt Andie, because you always smell so good and no one else smells as good as you do, not even my mom!"

I've gotten so many complements from the perfume after wearing it for many years (especially from men). Its spicy scent doesn't aggravate my severe allergies so its a plus. This one is just right. It will always be my favorite.

This is a very unique scent that definitely stands out from the others. It is a bit on the expensive side but its well worth it. This fragrance is hard to find but I am so glad that I did.

My favorite perfume. I've been wearing Hypnotic Poison since it launched ten years ago. Rich and sexy, yet comfortable and so easy to wear, it is appropriate for nearly any situation. Immediately warm and inviting; there is no headache inducing sharpness or 'chemical explosion' top note to be found here. I wore it for my wedding. Although I own many fine perfumes, my husband complains if I wear any other scent!

Great staying power for an edt, with generous sillage that attracts many compliments and lots of male interest. I see the comments complaining about the price, but I do not consider it expensive in comparison to other quality perfumes. You get what you pay for, and a bottle will last you a good while.

I have tested literally hundreds of perfumes since discovering it, including niche houses like Serge Lutens and L'Artisan, and have never found any fragrance as perfect for me as Hypnotic Poison.

Got this fragrance for my mother's birthday... She is not a big fan of Dior fragrances, but loves Hypnotic Poison. I wouldn't say it's for everyday use, but for special occasions such as going out to a party, it's great stuff.

Currently, I use this product only. Most likely, I will never change. One day several years ago, I was sitting at my office desk and opened a piece of mail with a insert sample inside. All day, I kept pulling out that sample to smell it. Buy the end of the day, I decided to purchase it right away because I loved the smell. After trying many many different fragrances in the past with no success of any compliments good or bad, I had finally found the one fragrance for my body's chemistry. Men started commenting all the time. "How sensual and great you smell." They would ask me where to purchase it for their significant other. By the way, some women like the fragrance too. My best friend has her husband buy it for her. The only bad thing I find about it is, it can be hard to find. It's also hard to find the lotion and shower gel. They don't have a body talc. I wish they would come out with that. It's also hard to keep it in stock. So if you do decide to purchase it, buy more than one! The price keeps going up because it is getting harder to purchase it. Remember not every fragrance smells the same on everyone. Again this just happens to be the one for me. Good luck with finding what ever suits you and your personality.

I haven't found a fragrance I like better. It's beautiful in cold weather and warm weather. I just wish they offered a non-spray application. I like to dab on my perfume so I can better control how much I have on. Sprays waste too much of the product and put too much on most people.

I absolutely love this fragrance. I have gone through 2 bottles and just recommend Dior fragrances in general. Whenever I wear this perfume, people always comment on it. It's got a seductive and almost unsettling scent. The best!

I've been wearing this perfume for years and still love it. I am always getting compliments on it and am asked often what scent I am wearing. However, recently Hypnotic Poison has been hard to find and when I do find it, the cost seems to have gone up quite a bit. I am hoping this is a temporary trend.

I love this perfume so much,it has a very seductive smell and one can wear it anytime but i prefer those special moments or occassions,i wish though,it could be more affordable and available too but not less in quality.This is my best perfume ever,then comes,Opium (The Eau the perfume Opim lasts longer and has a more seductive smell than the Eau de toilette of it)
