This is my first Dior fragrance. I like to wear fragrances that aren't commonly worn by other women. Scents that are more unique than the run of the mill celebrity fragrance of the moment. I'm drawn to scents like Lolita Lempicka, Issey Miyake, Givenchey Ange ou Demon La Secret, etc. This is a heavier scent, but not overbearing like Chanel no. 5. It envelopes you like a cashmere sweater. It's warm and inviting. A little bit of fruit mingled with smooth vanilla and spice. I have received so many compliments from men and women, young and old, since I purchased it. I will definitely return to it!

This perfume is definitely addictive. When I wear this, people are drawn to me. Not like a pheromone draws you, but it is something that they can't describe. What's funny is I get a lot of compliments from women too! And that really makes me feel good, because women aren't as giving on compliments as men. I love when strangers stop me and ask what it is I'm wearing.
It does not clash with my soap. I don't have to layer it with lotion, it stands on its own merit.
I am addicted to Dior Addict, and I'm glad that I make others feel good when I wear it.

I have been wearing Addict for years, I love it and get compliments all the time, the vanilla in it seems to be what people notice. It is my signature fragrance and love when I can get it from Scentiments. Although it is not one of their cheaper items, it is still quite a bit cheaper than going to the department store.

Dior aptly named this perfume. It is one of the most addicting perfumes that I have ever owned. I love fragrance, so everytime a new perfume comes out I rush to get it. I do have an addiction to perfume. If someone put me in perfume rehab and told me that I could only have one perfume for the rest of my life, this would be the one. Feminine, sexy and oddly comforting. When I have a bad day, I take a hot bath with the bath gel, put on the lotion and spritz my nightgown with the perfume and it seems to calm me down. Just the romantic and sensual aroma of this perfume does this. Men love , love, love it and will stop and ask you for the name of it for their wives or girlfriends. Long lasting and very oriental fragrance.

I was in Vegas on vacation and had gone shopping. I went into a department store and was walking by the perfume department and the girl asked me to try this. I personally love this perfume. Sometimes I feel as though I could be a walking advertisment for the perfume. Men as well as women literally stop me on the street , in stores, everywhere I go to ask what I have on. Iwork in a bank and just as soon as people walk into the front lobby they ask what the beautiful smell is. To me there are no cons to this perfume. I love smelling very feminine and this certainly does make you feel that way. The initial application is a bit strong and that is why I put it on a few minutes before I go out.The dry down is a most pleasurable smell that really does intoxicate the senses and others long after I have forgotten I have it on. It is very long lasting and my most favorite. This is a very sensual smell and really does affect . You will not be disappointed.

Addict is the only perfume that my husband notices on me and constantly says that I smell yummy. If your guy likes delicious, edible smells, go for Addict! Another great smell that Addict reminds me is Sensations by Jil Sander. I think they have similar grassy top notes and the vanilla base that is not overly sweet. Even though Addict is best suited for evening, romantic occasions, I do wear it to work but use sparringly. As with Shalimar, I din't get Addict when I first tried it in the mall, however, when I heard it on a friend of mine, I was captivated! So, try it on the skin and let it reveal itself, you will be surprised!
