WOW! I Finally Found Ambush Again! But Wait .... It's Been Reformulated? & No Longer That Classic Ambush I Wore Every Day (opposite of Heaven Sent) Back In The 70s? Dana, What Have You Done? I See All These Bottles Of Ambush On-Line & I Want To Buy Them Sooo Badly ... Yet I Can't Now Since I Can't Trust This Incredible Perfume AnyMore !!! I USED TO LOVE THIS WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER. WAS EXCITED TO GET IT. BUT IT REALLY DOESN'T EVEN SMELL RECOGNIZABLE TO ME.

I was disappointed because I thought this was the original scent, and more so when I sent it back and it cost me more than 1/2 of what the perfume cost to begin with.

This is not the Ambush I remember, and I have great olfactory memory. The scent is off, too sweet and cloying, like most contemporary fragrances today. Ambush was seductively musky, and so much like Dana's Canoe for men that the two scents were virtually interchangeable. I know, because my husband wore Canoe, and I used a dab of it occasionally when my Ambush ran dry! It's a shame they can't get it right.
