I had high jopes for THE ONE but was disappointed. For me, it just came across as a "generic" floral with nothing outstanding or special about it. It is a pretty scent, but not unique enough for my tastes. But if you love florals, go ahead, sure, add it to your collection!

I usually prefer sweet smelling perfumes, but one day of wearing this and tons of compliments later, I was sold. It is more on the "musk" side of scents, but very sexy. The vanilla notes satisfy my preference for the "sweeter" notes.

When I first spritzed this, I thought it would be a bit too strong for work but went ahead and wore it to work to test the durability. It wasn't cloying or too strong and halfway thru the day I received a few compliments.

To me, it is more of sexy scent, not an everyday scent you would wear to work but I was just to anxious to test it out! lol

I plan on wearing this in the evening and for special occaisions as it is beautiful, bold, sexy, beautiful but not strong, cloying or overbearing as most evening scents can be.

I love the new Dolce & Gabbana THE ONE fragrance.
It is classy, fresh, and is gentle to the nose.
The only disappointment is that this fragrance doesn't last and needs to be applied often (layering)but I knew that already when I bought it so I bought the big bottle. Great value.

This is a really fantastic, unique scent. I get compliments all the time. It wears off pretty quickly when worn alone, but with lotion underneath or layered with another sumple scent or essential oil it lasts for a really long time. I wear it liberally on its own for evening or special occasions, and layer it with something else for day.

D&G THE ONE really does smell delicious! When you first spray it, it's kind of fruity smelling, but it dries to a powdery, vanilla-ry smell. I absolutely love it! It is slightly expensive, but it is worth it. It does seem to fade throughout the day, but it has more stay power than other perfumes I own.
