I've been wearing WD since it's inception in 1991. I've also worn Jean Paul Gautier, Chanel No 5, Salvatore Ferragamo and others, to name a few. That being said, I have never gotten the same number or quality of compliments that I receive while wearing WD. I just hope and pray that now that's Liz is no longer with us, the perfume will remain available for years to come.

This is the first time I've bought the body cream. I also bought one for my mother for Christmas. I know she will love it too. I use this in addition to White Diamonds perfume, that way I don't get a conflicting smell from some other lotion. It's a huge jar. I use it mainly on my hands and forearms. A little goes a long way. It makes my hands very soft - but don't use too much or it will take a while to absorb and I feel it's wasting this precious cream.

My mother loves this product. She has bought different products and ends up giving them away.
And anytime I ask her what she wants for birthdays, or holidays, she always says "White Diamonds". Buying thru Scentiments makes my shopping really easy. And I always buy the "Testers". This fragrance is "magical." I feel special, sophisticated, sexy, optimistic, etc. when I wear it. It's not overpowering but just a very pleasant fragrance. It's surprisingly long lasting,considering it's an Eau de toilette. I love the fragrance so much I would wear it daily if I worked a regular job and wasn't on permanent disability. I thought I liked this at first. My best friend"s mom that I had in high school, had this one, and my friend sprayed it on us and said doesn't it smell so good, and I was like yeah it is. So a few years later I bought a little for myself. But to my dismay everyone around me said "what did you spray? It stinks, open the window, don't ever spray that again! yuk buggy spray!!!" ha ha lol, So I didn't even give it to my mom cause my dad and sis didn't like it. So either took it back to store or gave away. I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about when they say this isn't stong enough or too weak and light! It stinks and strong and overpowering like bug spray! Yuk! Maybe I would like the newer sheerer versions they make of this;) If you still wanta try this one, I suggest getting one I bought at a meijers before, called "Lady in White". I got a complimant on that one before from a guy at work.

This fragrance tries to be everything to everyone. About 10 years ago I read it was a #1 best seller. I believe it. This starts out in a cloud of absolute glamour. No staying power as it fades, and it's final 'notes' are positively ugly. At least on me, we are all different. Not one of my favorites, but it probablly smells wonderful on millions of others.
