This perfume was chosen as Estee Lauder's personal scent. And, it's easy to understand why. This is my favorite perfume since the 1980's, and has been my sister's favorite perfume even longer. It's a very unique scent. And, I am always showered with compliments when I wear it. The best way I can describe the scent to you is: "seductive". As another reviewer stated, the scent doesn't last as long as it did, years ago. But, it does last longer than other perfumes. For work, I only spray it on one spot. Otherwise, it would be a bit strong for a small, office setting. I highly recommend this perfume for anyone!

I have used this fragrance since 1975. In the early years my sweaters and coats and closets held the fragrance. If I held people's babies they told me that their babies smelled so good. In these later years, it seems stronger when I put it on but it doesn't seem to last like it once did, nor does it permeate clothing. But I still love it. It is really the only perfume I use.

I started using Estee Lauder Private Collection in the 1970's. Since then, it's the only fragrance I wear....I'm completely addicted to it! The fragrance is quite distinctive..it's not flowery & sweet as most other fragrances. I wear it everywhere...work, evenings & special occasions...and I always get compliments on it.

When I moved to NYC 22 years ago, this was the first perfume I bought. I loved it and I get compliments about how great I smell all the time. Some women may feel it's too strong for daytime but I disagree - it lasts and lasts and has a wonderful smell.

I'VE USED THIS FOR MY GOING OUT AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS PERFUME. NOW I KNOW WHY WAS SPECIALLY MADE FOR THEIR FOUNDER AND OWNER ESTEE LAUDER. THE SCENT IS UNIQUE AND.......OH SO EXQUISITE!!!!!!! IT'S NOW MY SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE TOO!!!!

Joy on "The View" says it's her favorite and she wears this all the time so I ordered it but I found it's a little strong for me. It's a good fragrance just a little too heavy for me. I would recommend it but with caution - use sparingly.
