I prefer the Cologne Spray to the EDT and Perfume version of this scent. EDT does not last, and Perfume smells different. I have worn this as my signature scent for about 30 years, and have had more compliments on this scent than any other I have ever worn. It is quite unique. I have actually been literally chased down by more men than women, because they are drawn to it and want to buy it for their wives and girlfriends. This scent has become extremely difficult to find, but somehow Scentiments always comes through. Thank you Scentiments!

The amazing thing about Norell is it's lasting power. You will notice a hint, 24 hours later. Even after you've showered. I mist a little on my outer garments and wrists. This seems to work for me. The notes will change, so be patient. Wear it. It softens to a pleasant clean earthy, spicy scent. Great scent!!

Norell has been my favorite fragrance since the late 1960's. Through the years, I tried other scents, but nothing compared to Norell. It's hard to find, even on Sentiments, and I live in utter fear of not being able to buy it someday. The fragrance lasts all day long, and I can't tell you how many people have hugged me and then remarked, "Wow, you smell good." As long as it's produced, I will buy it.

To me this is a perfect perfume -- not too sweet, not too heavy, but a beautiful blend of floral and spice. I got a sample card from a department store when Norrell debuted in 1968, bought it the next day, and still wear it. In all those years I have never had a negative comment, but have received many, many compliments--especially from men. My sister berates me for "...still wearing that same perfume" instead of one of the current overdone perfumes. But it is my signature (before we married my husband said he loved to come into my house because it smelled like my perfume), and I will move heaven and hell to find it!!

I purchased Norell because of the rave reviews it received, and I tried to like it, it just doesn't smell right on me. It is a serious fragrance of another era -- in the same family as chanel no.5, but less floral and more sharp. It's a great buy if it works with your body chemistry.

For me, Norell is just a pretty scent that isn't too floral-y and not overpowering. I wear it every day. A bonus: My husband loves the scent as does my baby daughter.

I've used Norell for 20+ years and am so pleased [...]still produces it. Don't be "put off" when you first apply it, as it initially smells strong but quickly "settles down". People at work comment that they can always tell when I've been in a room before them but that it's never overpowering or offensive. They say a pleasant aroma in the air remains. I always get comments from family, friends or even dates; "you smell so nice, what are you wearing"? The body lotion is exceptionally nice as well.
