The description of Vanderbilt Eau de Toilette was inconsistent with the actual product. Rather than a complex aroma, there was only a strong smell of inexpensive soap. There were no layers of ingredients that I expect from a good scent and it lingered for hours. I doubt that I would use this even as a bathroom deodorizer. The only positive comment I can honestly make is that the bottle is moderately attractive and I can add it to my collection of miniature perfumes.
