A great scent for those who enjoy a more masculine, almost smokey scent. I layer it w/ pink sugar body lotion and it smells sweet like the pipe my grandfather smoked. Not a girly scent.

Cabochard starts out smelling really strong and almost masculine when first applied so I didn't think I'd like it. However, after a few minutes it dries down into a warm, sexy scent. after dry down, It's alot like Ralph Lauren's Safari that I used to wear in the 90's. A great scent that makes a statement...just be sure to apply well in advance of walking out the door to give it time to settle.

I have worn this EDT for over 40 years. Bought when I was 16 on the French Riveria. Have tried others, but have always gone back to Cabochard. Men love it! Men ALWAYS ask what it is, and my neighbor actually bought for his wife because he loved it so much. I use it morning, noon and night. I carry it in my purse. Cabochard is my all time favorite! You need to try it! You will be glad that you did. The only negative is the new bottle. I liked the original round bottle much better. Easier to grasp.

I have loved Cabochard since I first got a sample in Paris in 1965. I started wearing it then and have never stopped. It always makes me feel good about myself. I am very sad that Grès doesn't make the perfume anymore as the cologne doesn't last as long and doesn't quite create that mustiness that is so attractive. But I still love the scent and want no others. When I was teaching Jr. High all the young boys would always ask me what I was wearing; they loved the smell! And they aren't the only ones: everyone comments on it. Cabochard, c'est moi!

This is not for the average or plain Jane--this is an unusual and out spoken fragrance--I believe a woman who wears this would have a very strong personality. This would appeal to quirky and unigue women as well. I love this stuff one of my favorites. I think you will like it too.

When I was 21 someone gave me a sample of Cabochard. From the very first smell I knew it was my fragrance. I am now 57 and have never worn anything else. Everyone I come in contact with asks me what smells so good. Subtle, clean, but sexy to name a few. Definately not overpowering, fruity or cheap. And the best part, I always buy mine thru Scentiments as they have always had the best price!

This fragrance will leave him wanting you. It is a timeless, living "legend" of perfume history- Bet you didn't know it was invented in 1959. It is one of the top 4 perfumes I have ever known in my life. I have also given as a gift(nearly impossible to give one up) and the recipient was quite taken and appreciative of this classic, truly wonderful scent. I have worn it since I was 21 years old. Today, on my actual birthday, I am 51 years old. I'm a cabochard girl for life!

I know its a *classic* scent but.....It's HORRIBLE and I wear a few signature fragrances...Worked for Estee Lauder for years and know about top notes, base notes.....ect.Never again....unless I'm trolling the nursing home for a date...:(

I used this fragrance for years and then ran out and somehow never replenished it. I came across a small bottle that I kept in a suitcase recently and remembered how much I loved this scent. I had to purchase it again! Not overpowering so you can use it for work as well as evening and special occasions, and the price was great compared to department stores. Wonderful, wonderful fragrance.

This fragrance, Cabochard, is the most wonderful ever formulated. It can be compared to a Michaelangelo work of art. It never, ever becomes old, but becomes more valuable with time. Especially when we have fragrances today formulated by those mavens of scent, like Britney & JayLo. Please.

There has been no scent since Cabochard which can hold a candle. I pray that the new owners will NOT alter the formula. That would be tantamount to changing Michaelangelo's colors.

Cabochard was included in a sample collection a friend brought back from France, and I had to get more. It's elegant, subtle and not at all flowery or sweet. I like it in the evenings to let me know I'm not at work any more, but if you're into daytime perfume this one is not too heavy.

They recommend it as a evening scent, but I use it all the time. Perfumes tend to make my stomach upset and I do not care for flowery strong perfumes. This is the only one I can use without upsetting my stomach. That's why I've been using it for 40 years.
