I spray my hair with it everytime I shampoo it and my husband loves it. Spray it on my pillow for a good nights sleep.
It will NOT change scent on me unlike all the others I've tried over the years. Some are instant stinks while others may take 2' to change to my body's chemistry before smelling horrible.
I can still smell it on my skin the next day giving me an uplifting feeling.
Guerlain doesn't change it's formulas like others brands I've worn for years and now cannot b/c they have changed something in their chemical content. Those now only get sprayed on my clothing. It's your personal chemistry that makes the scent smell different on you then others. ONLY thing to remember the EDC, ECT and EDP WILL SMELL DIFFERENET on you after you've worn them a while. Make sure to try out each type before buying one b/c it may not have tester type you tried at the store.

I have two of the decorative gold holders, and this size fits them perfectly! The sprayer used in the refill works better than the one found in the plain glass bottles. I've worn this fragrance for years as it is one of a few that doesn't give me a headache. It is an appropriate fragrance at work or home, but that does not mean it is nondescript. Through the years I have worn all the concentrations for Shalimar: EDT, EDP & EDC.
The only one I haven't worn is the pure perfume.
To me the EDC has the best smell of the three I have worn. This is such an enduring classic. If you like orientals, this needs to be on your dresser! Enjoy! Always a favorite with men.

As a teenager, I immediately felt "this is the one!" when a friend shared her Shalimar cologne with me. At first, it seems a bit strong going on, but within minutes, the vanilla aspect kicks in--just sweet enough and delicious. I really enjoy what I smell like. Even today--almost 50 years later!--Shalimar still smells great to me and still delights my husband. When he hugs me, he often says, "I love the way you smell!" Friends and strangers, too, frequently tell me how much they like my "signature" scent--not too strong to annoy anyone nearby, but pleasing to people who get close. Shalimar cologne is not as easy to find as the eau de toilette or perfume--but for me, Shalimar cologne is the best balance for both day and evening.

I use this product whether I am taking my dogs for a walk, going out to lunch, an evening at the theatre, or after a warm bath before bedtime.
