How to describe Mitsouko?!?! I love it ... I'm in my 50's, and the best compliment I ever received when wearing Mitsouko came from a teenage boy. I was surprised ... but not really ... because Mitsouko is beautiful, and apparently, timeless!

This particular bottle seems a bit weak to me, but I love Mitsouko's elegant dryness-something you would not guess from the description. I can't find the peach, but the flowers, oakmoss and woods come through.

I wanted to give this a try as I'd heard many good things about it. It is an enduring chypre fragrance, fruity with a mossy dry down. It is sharper than the fragrances of today that are more aquatic or floral.
An individualistic scent that leaves a lovely trail.
It is definitive as is the person who wears it.
If you prefer to blend in with a safe scent, this may prove too unusual.
Think of mystery, subtle yet insinuating. IF you are that person, this is for you.

I love this scent it is the same brand actress Jean Hrlow wore, I did research to find that out, in case you dont know who she is, she was the original blonde bonbshell of the 1930's and very sexy, when I smell this I can picture her wearing it in one of her beautiful gowns..I bought this for my wife by the way who looks ALOT like Jean, even the platinum blonde hair, if you like the more classic scents, like chanel #5, you will love this!

I was always a L'Heure Blue fan, but it has become very hard to find. I switched over to Mitsouko, and despite my great loyalty to fragrances, I love it. Mitsouko is flowery, Asian, and sensual. Few people I know wear or know it - making it even more appealing. It is simply lovely and it makes me feel good to put it on. Only flaw - wish it was longer lasting.
I do love "House of Guerlain" - all their perfumes have appeal.

Mitsouko is my all time favorite, second only to Vol de Nuit. Mitsouko is attractive for work by not leaving a trail, and is also enticing for romantic and intimate occasions. The 3.1 oz. refill alone would cost well over $80 in upscale stores. Scentiments includes the beautiful decorative bottle cover at an incredible value. This was my first purchase with Scentiments and the product was super fresh. Will definitely buy again!

Mitsuoko is an old perfume, created in 1928 I believe. It has a wonderful smell and I love it but it will not last all day. Compare it to Guerlain's La Heure Bleu which is very similar. Best uses include confined spaces (the theatre or opera) and intimate moments. It's a very sweet scent and brings back memories.

This is an elegant scent for mature women. Not for those who are adventurous and dare to be different. Timeless classic, but I don't think young women would like it. Would recommend to a conservative, older female.
