I have used this fragrance since receiving it as a gift in 1964. It is never boring! It's easy to use too much, so I don't recommend it for those who spend lots of time in elevators, or when visiting people in the hospital, or in a crowd of children. In spring and summer, it reflects the season, and in fall or winter it reminds me of the good things to come. I would call it "sensual" rather than "sexy."

The blue hour (l'heure bleu) is the twilight hour in Paris, when all French women get ready for the evening ... this perfume is great for evening wear and very subtle so that you don't assault the senses of the people you are with. Very classic scent.

My mother wore it and when I told her how much I loved the fragrance, she never forgot to give me a bottle at Christmas or on my birthday - we both loved it! It became unavailable in stores, and 2 yrs. ago my mom passed away. A month later, I found it here and ordered a bottle. When I got my first whiff (in several yrs.) of this delightful perfume, it was like my mom was right there with me... I will always think of her when I wear it.

I wear L'Heure Bleue when its raining & I feel a bit wistful...its that kind of perfume...for daydreaming & rainy days. A real classic, I like it best in the EDP & parfum.
