I love this scent. I've been wearing it for a couple of years. The only thing I don't like is the bottle design. There is always some in the bottom that I can never get out and the lid/sprayer does not come off so I can't use it up or pour it in to another bottle.

I discovered Insolence by accident. Well it was one of the best accidents I've ever had. I Love this smell and everytime I wear it, someone tells me I smell good. I don't know all thats in this perfume, but you can smell all the citrus fruits and I smell flowers too. I feel so good when I wear this. Its the one that he can't resist, the one that everyone compliments me on, and it makes me feel beautiful wearing it.Never over powering and does not change or turn sour in time. this scent really reminds me of Kenzo Flower, which I love..but stronger. It is much better after about 30 min to an hour..it dries down to a nice clean powdery scent..much like Kenzo! A beautiful bottle. I would say this is a fragrance best for a mature woman.

This is my favorite fragrance that I use everyday and get compliments on it from men mostly. I am not crazy about the bottle though. The last few "sprays" won't come out because of the shape of the bottle and I can't get the top off to pour it out.

This is my new signature fragrance for anytime wear! I'm a freak for fragrance and use 10 other perfumes and alternate daily. This I wear the most frequently. Interestingly enough - men compliment this perfume the most when I wear it. My husband will comment how much he likes the fragrance every time I wear it - and he never pays attention to perfumes!

this is really unique smell. Reminds me of gas station and rubber gloves that you wash dishes with when you get the soap and rubber mixture together. Lovely! Can be worn by men or women. So unique! Don't confuse this one with 'My Insolence' which is horrible and pedestrian.

I don't really find most perfume comfortable or enjoyable to wear, It has been years since a fragrance has comes along that is so compelling I became obsessed with it. My Last love affair was with Samsara in 1989.. But when I tried Insolence, I realized this was my new signature scent.
Its soft floral violet/ orris start dries down to a beautiful powdery sensual sandalwood and tonka bean. I feel like it is a part of me and not a fragrance. Like, dare I say it, I just smell this good naturally. My husband, who normally dislikes perfume,loves it as well. It makes me feel beautiful, confident and compliments abound.
It is soft enough to be innocent, warm enough to be sensual. It is all I wear for day or evening, it is now just part of me. " this is how I smell" I adore Insolence.. I just want to swim in the waves of its sparkling spiral bottle. Thank you Guerlain Perfection!

Insolence is the perfect introduction to the gourmand world of the classic Guerlain. Violets were in desperate need of an olfactory update, and Maurice Roucel's use of a raspberry vanilla accord works perfectly with the usually shy little flower. It'd be easy to dismiss Insolence based on the very youth-centric ads and the crazy bottle, but I've gotten compliments from strangers while wearing this (which almost never happens).

Insolence is not overly sweet. And as advertised, red fruits over a very nice blend of iris and violet, are apparent. The red fruits then soften. The base is a lovely, kind of dusky mix of vanilla and sandalwood, and once the top notes calm, it is not too sweet!
I feel it is an all occasion fragrance.

Came across this scent in a swatch out of a magazine...I have been wanting it for the longest. The swatch does not do it justice. It's smells great on. It goes on a bit strong but it tones down & the scent lingers all day. I get alot of compliments on it. This perfume reminds me & smells similar to my "Promise" by Cacharel perfume. I guess it's because they both come from France & they have a boldness about them.

I love the bottle of this perfume-that's what got me attracted to it in the first place! However, i did try out the fragrance at a department store first and kept it on the entire day to be certain that i loved that too..and i did!

In my experience, the way it smells in the bottle, is the way it smells on everyone.

My daughter-in-law, and her mother was given this for Christmas, and it smells the same on both of them. I thought maybe because they are mother and daughter, they might have the same chemistry. BUT, when I ordered it, I found that it smells the same on me. Thankfully, I love the way it smells!
