After reading the reviews on this product I was so looking forward to receipt of this perfume. I had it sent to my office and when I opened and tried the perfume on I was sincerely disappointed.
There was an overpowering smell of alcohol but then the smell became almost rancid. My fellow office mates asked me to wash the smell off. To say I was sincerely disappointed is putting it mildly. I wondered if perhaps it had been stored for a long period of time. I am sure the product I received was not intended to smell the way the product I received smelled.

A wonderful signature scent because it is noticeable enough to attract compliments, without being overwhelming (like leaving a trail of where you've been!). The EDP is definitely the best as I can smell it longer than the toilette. I often get compliments when I can no longer smell the scent (unless I sniff my wrist), but others notice the scent. It is wonderful for those sensitive to strong smells (as in having allergic sinus reactions that are nauseating) as it has never been too strong in that respect. I have been wearing 24 Faubourg for 12 years now, and never tire of it. Thanks to Scentiments, I can AFFORD to wear it.

I ordered this years ago when I heard Paul Burrell say that Princess Diana loved this frangrance, and wore this most of all perfumes. I ordered it and loved it, and gave it to my mom for Mother's Day. She is hooked now as well. People will ask you what you are wearing....I do not tell...its very nice, subtle and long lasting. I also love Cristalle Chanel, but only in the EDP, not EDT....wish it was on here, hard to find as well. I bought the product having only read the descriptions of it online on various perfume review sites. I was looking for something similar in scent to L'Eau d'Issey, my favorite scent. I thought the combination of "tiara flower, ylang ylang notes and harmonised with iris...sandalwood and vanilla at the base" would suit me fine. After trying it once, the scent settled differently on myself. I would recommend anyone shopping for perfume do the sensible thing and sample a new perfume on yourself first. The comments above pertain to myself and how the scent settled on me. This perfume could suit somebody else very well. It does have a long lasting scent, as I found out to my dismay. This could be a plus, if you, as well as dear ones, love it on you! I probably would recommend it to somebody who loves citrus-y based perfumes. I do not. Good luck shopping!
