I feel fresh and vibrant after using Un Jardin Sur Le Nil... and I have literally gotten stopped in public places and asked "What is that incredible scent you are wearing?" I love it because it is different and unique, and can go from a casual picnic to a black-tie evening, and still fit my personality. It took me years to find my signature scent, and I will be wearing this one forever! My only wish is that it was a little more longer-lasting...

The opening notes of green mango are delicious and unique. I smell some citrus as well. As it wears down, the word I would use to describe it is salty water. This frag is nice and not overpowering. Someone would have to stand close to you to smell it, but you keep smelling it all throughout the day. I bought this in winter but I think it is more of a warm weather fragrance and I can't wait to see how it smells in the summer months.

This is a wonderful subtle scent, unlike anything I've smelled before. I first tried it after reading an article about its development in the "New Yorker".
My only complaint is that it just doesn't last very long.

I still can not beleive how many compliments this perfume draws... I have travelled a lot last year, and every city I went to: Atlanta, Minneapolis, Palm Springs, Miami--there is always someone who asks "What are you wearing?"
It is a spring-summer fragarance that is light, refreshing, with unique undertones. I am going through my second bottle already, and I've never finished any of the bottles of my previous perfumes before.

You can use this product in one of two ways. First you might want to proclaim to the whole world so you want to leave a trail as you go, for that you need to lightly spray your body immediately after towel drying from shower then again spray generously in the air about one foot above your head and let the mist fall gracefully all over your body (with clothes). This will definitely pull complements. But the second way to use this perfume is for up close (eating at an intimate bistro way), for that you spray yourself lightly after showering. Then spray your fingertips and lightly touch the pulse points to reinforce it. The second one draws people in a little closer as they try to detect that sweet essence surrounding you. Both methods work for me and I am addicted to this perfume (extra bonus points because my husband does not complain about the perfume when he is near, he just hugs me closer).

Love this! It's a sparkling green/citrus fragrance that smells very unique. One of the things I like best about it is that it works well in many everyday situations -- office, out to dinner, etc. It evolves during the day, starting with a fruity burst and ending with a mellow, green incense-y fragrance. This really lasts on me.

I just purchased this wonderful fragrance for summer and it is a true joy to wear! It is very citrusy with top notes of grapefruit and mango. I had been to Egypt and noticed the deeper scents of jasmine, fouille and sandalwood, but this is much lighter and refreshing. It is great to spray on after a bath. I put mine in the refrigerator and spray it on for a cool summer touch-up. This fragrance does not last all day, but it is worth every penny of the price because it is so unusual. This is a must for anyone loving citrusy, exotic and unusual fragrances!!!

This is my all around favorite fragrance for every occasion. It is a light and airy fragrance that does not overpower your own presence. The fragrance needs to be reapplied after a few hours, but it is absolutely lovely!!!

This is a great everyday scent for the spring, summer season. I spray it lightly when I go to work, and a little more generously when I do other things, like shopping, going to the beach, hanging with friends... etc. I love the fresh smell of being outside. It's clean and sophisticated. I would only use this for daytime use, but I'm fine with that. I have other perfumes for evening wear, and I wanted something like Un Jardin Sur Le Nil to add to my collection for a variety of occasions.

I think the scent really does evoke its poetic name. The more I use it the more I like it.

The perfume starts off bright and citrusy and then mellows out allowing its incensy qualities to come to the front.

The first burst of this scent is so lushly mango you can almost taste it, but instead of being a soft, sweet, mango...this one is somehow crisp and tart. It settles into a delicate fresh green fruit scent with only the slightest edge of spice and dry wind to keep it from being "cutesy". I am completely entranced with this scent! I first heard about it on a segment of NPR and got it to try for a great deal here...but quickly became addicted to the impecable balance of the fragrance. I won't be looking for anything new for quite some time, thank you very much!

This is my very favorite perfume of all time. The top note is very green and woodsy. Then, after an hour or so, the bottom note is yummy and delicious - a romantic scent and stays on for hours and hours. I can put it on in the morning and still smell the mellowness in the evening. It is fabulous!! Do buy it - you will never regret it!!
