I was a little disappointed in the fragrance. I had smelled it on a waitress and asked what she was wearing. It doesn't smell the same on me. It is very pleasant but does not seem to last.

I have used the cologne/toilet water, eau des merveilles, since it was first introduced, and loved it. Thought the elixir would be longer lasting. I'm sorry I didn't heed one of the reviewers who said the fragrance of the elixir was very different from the cologne. It almost doesn't smell like it's the same fragrance which is a big disappoiontment since I have loved the cologne. I'm not sure I even like this one.

This fragrance is defintiely different on than what you smell in the bottle. I have recevied so many compliments - and the fragrance definitely lasts. Many fragrances don't seem to last on me - this one does.
