Finally, a chance to re-stock one of my two favorite fragrances (the other one is "Caleche" by Hermes. I've been wearing "Joy" for decades and, although I go thru spells of wearing my other fragrance, I always come back to this one. Seems to be a bit "heavy" right after spraying it on, but it mellows out quickly to a light, sweet aroma.

I find that other newer perfumes just don't have that rich scent I associate with the more expensive jasmine and rose. I wouldn't recommend this scent to just anyone, but if you love florals, this is the best!

I have worn this perfume for forty years, and although I love perfume and wear several as the mood strikes....Joy by Patou is very special, and my favorite. This is a good value since I buy both of these items separately. The lotion is perfect for after the gym and pool each session and the scent is soft and mellowed out by the time I leave the gym. The cologne makes you feel "special" every day!

A little strong when first applied, but it mellows out to a subtle undertone as the evening wears on. Lovely to wear at an outdoor cafe in the summertime, and before a roaring fire in the winter!
