I first tried L'eau par Indigo at the airport duty free shop. Initially I liked the floral notes of ylang-ylang. However, the longer powdery 'amber' note felt somehow artificial on my skin. I gave it another chance, and purchased a full 3.4oz bottle, which I ended up returning.

Not a favorite of the Kenzo fragrances, but is clean and fresh, very aquatic, have to reapply because it doesn't last long on me. Reminds me of couple of CK One Summer fragrances.

Walking through the Singapore Airport in 1997 a particular scent captured me on the way to the book shop...L'eau par by Kenzo. From the moment I released the sample spray, I knew I had found my scent. People stop me in the street asking,"what is that scent?" Both men and women love it and my daughter thinks of this scent as 'love'. I would be absolutely devastated if it were ever discontinued. L'eau par lifts ones spirit and lingers in the most languid manner evoking warm tropical evenings and tender moments.
