I try and only buy scents with patchouli in them. Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant was introduced to me at a perfume counter in Florida. I bought the tester without the cap. I was visiting my sister, and she is the one that really fell in love with it when I showed it to her. I gave her my bottle for her birthday, and I went and got another one for myself. I had worn Opium, and Initial by Bucheron, two other oriental fragrances. My Swedish aunt used to wear Opium too and make cardamon coffee cakes. I think that's what I like about Kenzo's Jungle Elephant. It has cardamon and patchouli along with some other nice notes of mandarin, clove, ylang-ylang, liquorice,and who know what else. I almost always receive compliments when I wear it. I bought this past bottle because I wanted the cap. The elephant cap is very substancial.

This is the first time I've purchased/used this fragrance. I chose it by the description you gave, and I'm very happy that I did. I've gotten positive responses to it since day one, so this is an instant favorite. It lasts all day, yet I don't tire of it, and not once has anyone commented that it was strong or overpowering. In other words, I'm hooked!

Very, very unique! It stands out among the MANY fragrances I own, and haven't smelled anything like it. Little goes looooong way. Very spicy and sensual, "out of the box", and perfect for my adventorous style; will be too much for the average person. It's somewhat expensive even for the tester, but worth it!

I agree with the review mentioning how at first you are kinda torn, but it definetely grows on you. It lasts all day! That is a big plus. I can actually smell it on myself. I do love wearing it.

When I first tried Kenzo jungle , I did not like it but then I tried it again and I fall in love with it. It has some kind of smell that you don't smell it all the time and that makes it unique. In additio to this, it has some sweet notes that reminds me a little to Angel.
I bought the tester at scentiments and then I got two more. This perfume is very nice.

I first decided to try Kenzo Jungle Elephant and at the beginning I did not like it but after the perfume dried down on my skin , it develop a nice woody, spicy aroma that no other perfume has and this is what makes it unique among other fragances. It is a kind of sensual smell that makes you feel unique and special. I first bough 2 testers and order other two because, I like it and don't want to run out of such a beautiful woody, spicy fall scent......
