I have been wearing LaPerla for at least 10 years. It takes me a long time to find a scent that would become my signature. I used to wear Sonia Rykiel 7 Sens, which is my all around favorite scent in the world. I felt bereft when they stopped making it, however... I tripped across LaPerla in Italy and just fell in love. It's not "girly" it's a very sophisticated scent, and much more a womanly perfume. I keep on having this fear that they will stop making it. I like it because it is NOT flowery.

Use this sparingly during the day. It could be overpowering in a closed environment. For evening and special occasion wear you can use more. It has a wonderful smell that dries down beautifully. It has become my signature fragrance and I wear it everywhere. All you have to know is if your chemistry holds it longer and adjust accordingly. This will definitely get you compliments!!

I first came upon La Perla 16 yrs. ago overseas and bought every bottle in the store. I find it changes stength with my own body chemicals.I never had problems finding it on Scentiments, but seems more people are wearing and less available, so I buy several bottles at a time. I wish there were creams and powders so as not to mix fragrances but Boucheron goes well with it/
