I typically go for the clean, citrusy types of perfume, but my mom brougt back a sample from Paris and I really liked it. Initially, it starts out more citrusy and ends up a nice vanilla smell. Although I am always attracted to Oriental/Spicy fragrances, which this is, I was completely knocked-out by the uniquely beautiful scent of this perfume. It smells wonderful, but not like any other I've tried. This is definitely NOT for little girls!

I love this scent! My favorite after Lavanila's vanilla scent. Actually this smells a bit similar to Lavanila but with a spicy kick. I douse myself with this, sadly it doesn't last too long but the price is so great on here I can keep on dousin. Dang, I smell good! I don't think it smells foody or pastry shop, it is a sweet fragrance but it has that oriental spice to it that balances the sweetness.

I always seem to have difficulty finding a new scent. While I was at the mall recently walking behind this young woman that smelled great, I asked her what scent she was wearing. She told me it was Lolita Lempicka, so I researched it and asked my husband for it as a gift. The scent I was hoping for was the original secent, however, I was very pleasantly surprised when I smelled this. I tend to have issues with most perfumes; i.e, in the subway, someone will walk by and I immediately get a sore throat and my head starts hurting-- It's very difficult for me to find perfumes that don't cause this reaction in me. The last one was Dior's Hypnotic Poison- but the perfume does not last and is a bit too sweet for my taste. L is long lasting, has a lovely citrusy/musky/vanilla smell, draws compliments wherever I go( My mother, roommates and various aquaintances have already stolen L from me!), and best of all, I can wear it all day without negative physical side-effects!

This smells so good! It has a sweetness to it, but not overboard. You have to like vanilla though because you can definitely smell that note in it. If you like "Angel" but can't wear it because of the harsh patchouli note in it, this is similar, but way softer...much more pleasant.

"L" is a great scent; however it may not be for everyone. It is similar to fragrances such as Obsession or Charles Jourdan, but it is not quite as strong or long lasting as the two I've mentioned. When you first spray it on, you smell vanilla through and through and it's almost like a gourmet fragrance; delicious but not quite like food. On me, the dry down renders a vanilla and slight woody scent on my skin. I still like it, but would probably only wear it for a night out as it may not appeal to all in the work place.
