I used to use Quartz in the late 70s-80s and then switched to Eau d'Hadrian by Annick Goutal (which I adore). I decided to retry Quartz as a gift to myself.Reading reviews, I was so surprised to read of 'floral' notes because I recalled it as citrus-y.Upon receiving it this week (excellent service), the floral is what prevailed, to my disappointment; not my style. But, be persistent. Next spritz got me the fruit that I like (I don't read peach as much as I do grapefruit, as I also had recollected.)As far as longevity, 24 hours later I still catch tones on my skin, and I always use scent sparingly (only wish others did....). In fact, the thing to do whether perfume or eau is to spritz the air once, and lift your bared forearms into the fragrance. Also great to once spritz the backs of your ankles. Then, when you walk, you create a delicate air of scent around you. Never use near the face, never more than 2-3 spritzes a day. Never, ever any in a large office. Nor a hospital. Nor public transit or airplanes, trains.If a salesperson, wait 'til you're off work. It's just rude to impose your fragrance on what may offend others.It's a rule in many offices.Most importantly re Quartz, there is no horrific cheesy, low class alcohol stink,(see above Perfume Protocols) which all department store stinky 'Eau de' have, creating headaches and nausea to all of the victims of their ubiquitous users! (i.e., nearly all 'low fashion' name brands, and the especially-offending T****r. Gag.Repeat: Gag.)Re recommendations: Me? Never, to anyone. The point is to be unique! Hullo, am I correct? Mais certainment.

Quartz is a great fragrance that I have enjoyed for over 30 years. With allergies to strong perfumes , quartz has never triggered a reaction. I have always been given positive comments on its delightful smell!

I love to spray this scent at the base of my throat so I can smell it throughout my day; it has an intoxicating scent but is not overpowering. I haven't been able to find it in stores for many years so I've been hoarding my small supply, wearing it only for special occasions. Now that I've discovered it online, I'll certainly wear it more often. I work in a "scent-free" environment so I can't wear to work.
