I used to wear Maja back in the day when there was a flamenco dancer on the bottle. The scent then was slightly citrusy, but warm with amber and floral notes. The only thing I can smell in this reformulated version, which claims to be an "oriental", is the dreaded ozone note, which becomes stronger as time wears on. After two hours I had to scrub it off. This is going back. :(

Was disapointed that is didn't smell like the original made in Spain. Was glad to find it at first. Should have sent it back...
Thought the original had a slightly sweet spicy scent,but this is too sweet even for me, and I love sweet fragrances!!

I use Maja every day. It's clean and distinctive scent is long-lasting but never overwhelming. Many folks ask me "What's that you're wearing that smells so good?" I just reply "Aha....it's Maja!"

Maja is an exquisite fragrance with subtle and very feminine essences. The rose, jasmine and oakmoss make for a light but noticeable aroma. I love the fact that nothing else smells like Maja... it is not a cookie cutter mall scent. It is mildly floral, slightly woodsy and completely exotic. The only downside is that the fragrance does not last that long... however, I will be purchasing the soap and the lotion soon as I believe layering will make all the difference in the world with this beautifully subtle fragrance.
