The fragrance is great on the first spray. Throughout the day, the fragrance is so light one may think that it faded completely. Notorious is great for 5 hrs or less as an evening fragrance because of the spicy tones that unfortunately, do not last all day.

I happen to spray this on myself one day at a department store. As I walked around the store, I was completely intrigued by its smell. It was sexy, spicy and I could smell the chocolate that it contains. I ended up purchasing it the next day, but when I used it at home, it smelled completely different to me. It almost seemed like the tester at the store was stronger then the actual one you buy. Do they make testers at the stores stronger? Because this was not the strong, spicy and chocolately smell I had remembered. It was definately weaker. I could only smell a powdery kind of scent, not the spicy smell I remembered and did not last at all. It does still have a nice smell, but it fades fairly quickly. I regret purchasing it.

I first smelled it in the mall and was very interested to check it out on Scentiments.com-too bad wasn't much cheaper than the mall price. Unique, stands out and is probably my favorite of Ralph Lauren's fragrances! Starts fresh and fruity. Smells differently as the minutes go by... and from top to bottom notes develops into very feminine and sensual scent.
