I use Ciara as my signature fragrance. When I turned 30, my body chemistry changed. The fragrances I used to rely on simply absorbed into my skin and lost their scent, not so with Ciara. I've found it to be long-lasting with rich fragrance. I love sandalwood, which is a foundation note. Not for the faint of heart however, it makes a definite statement. I use the 100 strength now, but the 80 is a great way to start. I recommend a light spritz in your hair too!

The "grandma smell" is overpowering, especially when first applied. The only good thing I can say about it is that it's very long-lasting (I wish the fragrances I really love stayed with me this long!!) Too bad there's not a way to "sample sniff" online...I'm stuck with it now...

I have been wearing Ciara since I was a young woman. Ocassionaly I will get another perfume as a gift, but nothing beats Ciara. I have had complete strangers, both men and women, come up and ask me what scent I have on. Many of the men have told me that they are going to go buy Ciara for their wife. The other great thing is that the scent lasts all day. Again I will have people compliment me on it at the end of a very long day. I have seen that it is recommended for "mature" women. Phooey. I first got Ciara perfume for Christmas at 16 and loved it then. I wore it nearly every day for several years then other perfumes entered the mix and I stopped using it. Several weeks ago, I saw it again on Scentiments and ordered it again--for old times' sake. I love it! It has the same spicy musky scent, subtle if you don't spray on too much. Anyway, I get a compliment every time I wear this one and I love the way it brings back old memories (the nose never forgets!). Only reason I gave it a 4 is that when you first spray it on, it can be a little harsh on the nose but a few minutes later, it's fantastic!

Ciara has been my fragrance choice for years now and I don't see any need to change it. It smells great when freshly sprayed and hours later too. In reading that the ingredients include frankincense and myrrh - I am not surprised that they were gifts given to the newborn baby Jesus! What a special fragrance!

Ciara is a staple on my dressing table. The 100% is hard to find, but I never even heard of the 200% ! So when I found out about it, I ordered it. It lasts and lasts all day. I believe Ciara came out in the 70's. It has that oriental/vanilla/musk romantic scent. I use other expensive name brand perfumes from higherend Dept.stores in which I purchase lotions, powders, and perfumes and layer them,however withCiara, you only need to purchase the perfume itself and it lasts all day. I have received more compliments on how good I smell when I wear it. The prices of it are very reasonable. The more I move around the more the scent is in the air, and it makes me feel good to be able to purchase it. Not too long ago I was in lineand walked up to the register at [...] Two young boys were in front of me and one toldme how good I smelled. He asked me if that was me that smelled so good. I started wearing Ciara about 35 years ago. I love that even though I can't smell it, others often comment on the fragrance. I was followed into an office on a Navy base and asked what perfume I was wearing. I also had a secruity guard ask me about my perfume. Several times each month, someone in my office will ask me what perfume I am wearing. Just this week I had stopped at a local grocery store and the cashier asked if I was wearing Ciara. It's my 'signature' perfume and my friends & family expect to smell it when they see me.

I've always worn Ciara - for 35 years now and I wouldn't consider another fragrance! I discovered on this website - the ingredients include frankincense and raspberry myrrh! Two of which were presented to the young Jesus in Biblical days! And no wonder - it's a wonderful fragrance!
Long ago I could purchase Ciara in a pulse-point purse sized applicator and I'd like that also. Any mini would be great to add to your Ciara offerings! I do very much love the fragrance and find I always will!

I went on a trip and the place we were staying the water went out for 3 days and no one could bath everyone around told me how amazing it was that we did not have a bath for three days and I still smelled so fresh and clean. I love perfume and wear it every day of my life. I wear it mostly for myself because I love to smell good. I have tried numerous fragrances and usually I migrate to the oriental spicy category.
