A salesperson at a cosmetics counter sprayed it on a ribbon, I liked it, and I dropped it in my purse. It lasted a long time on the ribbon and was unusual, so I bought some. (Loved opening my purse to smell it!) It doesn't last long on the skin but if it gets on fabric or my hair, it will. The dry-down is better than the initial spray. Later learned that my sister wears nothing else, so I bought this for her.

Having dry skin, perfumes don't hold. So I put some in my hair at the edges of my skin, so the scent last longer. It works well with Lovely.

I use this perfume about 3x a week in the morning when I go to work. I love the soft smell, and the fact that it is not over powering. The only thing I did notice is that I do spray it on again about 1/2 way through my day because it does wear off a bit, but what perfume doesn't during an 8 hr work day?

this is the kind of perfume you need to try first before you buy. I recommend trying it for the day to see how your body chemistry works with it. It has a hint of musk that doesn't work well with my chemistry. I noticed it smelled completely different on my friend who is more on the athletic/odor side when she sweats. It was nice on her.

Lovely is a soft blend of unique,fragrant herbal and flower blends. It is perfect for any time use. My only regret is that the fragrance does not hold for any length of time. My suggestion for this is buy the roll-on silk and refresh it every two to three hours. I wouldn't go anywhere without it.

I would use this fragrance anytime because it is soft and also unique. The smells is not too powerful where others won't be able to stand it. It's very unique because you can wear to go out partying, you can wear it to work or just when you are out running errands.

I am not a "perfume" person by any means. I avoid the cosmetics area in department stores whenever possible as I dislike so many scents. Most are overpowering and I don't like it when your personal scent is so strong that it irritates another. Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely fits that description and is the first perfume I've purchased in many years. I like to layer the cologne with Lovely Liquid Satin and Lovely Body Butter right out of my shower.
