I was incredibly disappointed by Covet, I bought the 3.4 oz. tester & this scent was so weak, I could not smell it on my skin just seconds after I sprayed it on. I literally doused myself w/ Covet every morning & not once in the months it took me to use up, did anyone compliment me on it. I couldn't even smell it on my clothes afterwards. I could not smell the chocolate or amber musks, it smells like a very light body powder; too weak, boring, nothing special. I think the only thing that sold this perfume was the commercials & the bottle.

I bought this without any knowledge of Sarah Jessica Parker's fragrance line. Honestly, I was browsing the 'Specials', and Covet was there. The reason I have come back today and re-ordered an additional bottle is because just this morning, a male co-worker stopped me while passing and said that he just really wanted to know what perfume I had worn the day before when he passed me in the hallway, because the fragrance was really good. When I thought about it, I realized I had worn COVET. That was enough for me to know that the fragrance is good enough to make a man stop in his tracks, say Uhhhmmm!, and the fragrance was powerful enough that a day later the gentleman felt moved enough to compliment me on the fragrance. That's the PERFECT COMPLIMENT that I desire when I wear a perfume.

I smelled this in the store a few months ago and didn't care for it. But the reviews here were great so I decided to buy a bottle. Boy. am I glad I did! Such a refreshing. multi-layered scent! I don't smell the cocolate notes, but that's ok (I can get that fix with Angel). Covet is powdery, earthy. and ultra fresh. Reminds me of a dewy garden in the wee hours of the morning. In my opinion, thios should become a classic!

I was incredibly disappointed in COVET. The scent disappears immediately, regardless of whether I sprayed it on my neck, clothes or wrists... an hour later, I can't even find the scent on my wrists. There is nothing musky, spicy or Oriental about COVET, it's a light, slightly floral, citrus, weak scent with no bottom or mid-notes. The bottle is well designed, the petal ring lifts off to reveal the center of the flower, which is the spray nozzle. Do not buy COVET if you're seeking a spicy, long-lasting scent. Suitable for a teenager.

I enjoyed SJP's first fragrance, Lovely, and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one...and I'm not disappointed. There is a completely differnet feel to this one, from the look of the bottle to the essence of the fragrance but LOVELY just the same. I like to layer my fragrances, a light spray on bare skin after a shower and moisturizer is applied and again on certain pulse points when dressed (back of neck, knees and base of throat). The practice works well with this fragrance too. Enjoy feeling "lovely" with Covet.
